1991 legacy
Hey guys, I am getting a smokin deal on an all wheel drive 91 legacy wagon and I have been lookin at different stuff for that year and the only lifts I find are SJR does anyone else make stuff for this year, or should I keep wheelin the 83 and keep the 91 on the street, I need to hear the bad more than I do the good. So please tell me about any downfalls that I could have wheelin this thing please.

Little Naches Trail 676
Ok so I went to the Little Naches area for memorial day weekend and was running around on the trails like a maniac and I found #676...... I was told by the "hardcore" jeepers to "stay the hell away with my little toy car." I proceeded to drive around them and up the trail just to see what was up. It is a "very difficult" trail. I completed it. The scout and lifted Yota that were with me didn't. I was told by the forest service cop that was monitoring the trail that I was the first Roo to make the last part. So if you ever head out around Ravens Roost ask about 676 and give it a shot, Make the Jeepers laugh then make em cry.

Quick lift question
So I should do the entire front end? struts engine trany? I want as little as possible, just enought to level it out.

Quick lift question
I have seen a couple people that have put 2" blocks on the front struts in the older ea81 models( mine is an 83) and then just crankin the big bolt under the seat. Is this option a good idea if you still daily drive your rig? Or would it put to much strain on the axle?

Nw wa offroad
I know about twenty people that have been lookin for some of those stickers, I am the only one that rolls a Subie though. Let me know what you would want for three of them for myself.

Bad power steering?
I have had a really bad side to side shake in my 83 gl wagon's steering. Recently the bearing on the power steering tensioner pulley went out and I had to drive it home with the belt off, the woble went away and the steering was perfectly smooth. I got the new bearing in and hooked up the belt and the woble is back with vengence. Could this be the steering rack? and also is there a non power steerin unit that I can hook up? thanks guys.

1983 gl wagon
On th point of lookin @#$%#@ up. I did. Searched for around five hours and found zero usefull info, (atleast as far as my small brain goes) this is my first Ru but one of many wheelin rigs and I just wanted to do it right and not be some Redneck horror story that dies on the highway because I did it wrong. I thought the whole idea behind a site like this was to ask and be answered. Thank you to everyone who has helped me find my way I have built my own SJR style lift (I work restoring classics and hotrods) and I hope to show up to an event soon.

How would you lift an 83 wagon?
Ok I have been told that a body lift for my 83 gl wagon would be a bad Idea? If there is anyone who can tell me why or link me to where I can find tyhis info I would appreciate that, also if one could tell me how I can lift my rig I would be very thankfull.

1983 gl wagon
I need the sizes for the body bolts... the ones that hold the rear diff. mount, the next set up that holds the rear end and for the torsion/sway? bar mount behind the front wheels. Basicaly the ones I need to replace when I do a body lift. I can get the length estimate on my own, I am hopeing that someone will have thread patterns and such.
