If anybody could tell me the part number(s) for the taller kyb outback shocks that would be awesome of you. I remember reading that certain early outbacks weren't actually any taller, and I don't want to buy the wrong ones and get skunked. BTW, they are for my 93 leggy, I'm doing a mild build up with struts, taller rims/tires and a few other little things. Thanks.

Details, year, model, miles and engine would make this a lot easier to look out for :-\

Quoted for truth. Ive done two Leggy wagon tail lights, the first time I didn't realize they were glued in (with sticky tar s h i t) and broke the first nice one I found by rippin and tearing at it like an idiot. Nice steady pressure.

Guys run these on their modded rinos and and golf carts around here all the time. Amazingly loud on the highway!

To answer your question My cars are both 93s. As far as the outback with the "extreme" HG problem, forget it. That thing will need a motor swap or at the least new heads. Keep looking... For two grand you should be able to find a 95ish 2.2 leggy and then just swap in the outback struts to get the extra clearance. Yes its that easy. Head to the off road section for more info on it.

I can only speak of the 2.2 with the highest regard. Having owned two cars with this motor it is crazy reliable with only basic maintenance. My first legacy had well over 200,00 miles on it when I sold it (bought it at 150,000), never had a problem. My current Legacy with the 2.2 has 140,000 on it (bought at 46,000) with the biggest problem being a failed alternator. Both were/are manuals. I understand the 2.5s have head gasket problems, but I wouldn't know from experience, just what I have heard and read about.

Hey all, I was wondering if anybody has a list (or link to one) of rims from other manufacturers that fit our cars without modification? I have an older legacy I would like to grab a set of 15" wheels for and after looking through a local yard I got curious about it. Audi? Chevy? VW? Trucks/cars? Anyone tried other rims themselves and know for sure? Thanks in advance.

Since you will have both engine out at the same time, why not do the Frankenmotor? 2.5 heads on the 2.2? I hear its good for a nice boost in power.
