  1. burn and stop and burn, stop and burn again became white smoke whole thing after 10 min driving. also temp gauge gone to overheat.
  2. yeah, coolant over the flow. when car cool down and could start again but will overheat again.
  3. yea, i did perfectly resurfaced and smoothly before installed. i think head gasket just failure or thermostat. water pump is good bearing and there good spring. but i can tell it's old, so whats is different? i will show my youtube for EA82 on this weekend. 8)
  4. head block's exhaust there have a dripping by the oil and burn out.
  5. my friend came over my house for help to repair rear main crankshaft seal... we did installed by 1/18th inch deep of the rear seal. so, there no leaky. even i was repair new oil pan gasket. it's 1994 EJ22 automatic.... but i dont understand why the exhaust have a oil drip and turn white smoke...smell like burn oil from exhaust muffler after i was put the transmission. it's oil pump failure?
  6. i was repair pair of head gasket (Becky) on ea82 loyal. so, it's was running good and i was drove around 10 miles and there have a temp's gauge going climb-up to overheating...the muffler became blow out! Even coolant box was broil out also radiator too. does I got a mistake torque head? 25, 46 AND 52 FT LB. OR need repair Thermostat or new bolts or what? manifold gasket is good.... but whats wrong is??
  7. tear-down timing belt, camshaft and head block. then you can removed bell-house's bolts before need your friends can pick up the EA82 cycle block. dont forget removed bolts from cross-member . also repair oil pan gasket. make a easier and less weight.
  8. head gasket torque. EA82 Sohc 1 step-22ft lb 2 step 43 ft lb final 3 step 47ft lb and 90 deg add? no re-torque. am i right? need new bolts?
  9. it's all good. hopefully will be good trip.
  10. A/C tensioner holder for belt. i have one but i was removed and not need for AC belt for me (improved MPG). thats why you dont have other second belt.
  11. when you see the crack...it's ok...it's called bridge. IF you feel not right ...you may go to test NAPA machine, if they pass test. i already order new pair of head from Seattle,wa and went goood sounds back in early 1990's. radiator...did you go to test in radiator shop local? what is look like yours spark plug color is?
  12. yep, engine fell off by the lift during bad winding.
  13. just happen. just crack it out while i pick up the engine from cherry picker hoist. After installed new headgasket.
  14. it's ok for installed before driving? only 3 blots on it..and cant weld 'NAPA said so'. that happen i use a cherry picker engine and somehow snap out old crack out.

  17. ya, i did counting on it. 28, 28, 51, 54.5 of teeth. i feel more sense than last photo.
  18. got you. it's more sense than belt's maker. i have been counting on it and i did double rotate crankshaft. there prefect alignment.
  19. so, bubble dot line..need one more teeth move to other teeth on crank?
  20. 1996 EJ25 DOCH outback. i want to make sure if it's correctly alignment timing belt before i pull out tensioner adjuster's pin and put in the wagon.. im not sure if it's correctly alignment's belt...or just follow sprocket's alignment?
