  1. I've been thinking about getting a alum rad made up for it BTW I had another reply to this but I can't see it now :/
  2. The 56B chassis has more of that weld goo stuff on the seams then the rest.
  3. mine doesn't leak.....any more why the rear defrost no worky? has to be something simple.
  4. it is very cobbled together, and VERY rusty up there (not much rust on the rest of the car). the car was driven in the winter before it was parked (about 6-8 years ago) and then it sat till I bought it from the guy (which if you look for the thread that the guy made about selling it, it took 8 months after that, for me to purshiche the car). Not sure what flywheel the used, he just said a "custom flywheel and clutch" and I haven't taken it apart yet my main focus was just trying to get it running, it is an adapter to the stock RX tranny. corky, thoughts on the cooling setup? and I was indeed doing my job, was there from 12:30/1:00 today to about 12 tonight but not in the rolla from about 3 on, the CVs went out (I think, look for the thread in off topic)
  5. how about more info on it? is there an old thread somewhere? that looks fun as hell
  6. indeed it would I never knew that, I guess I learned something new today
  7. I never heard an inline 4 referred to as an L4, an I4 yes but L4, that’s new to me. but I'm from the south so take that for what you will
  8. well then better get on that then
  9. they should as you wouldn't need the DP
  10. ummm I think they do. but what do I know.
  11. thats what I figured too, but I'd recommend a mega squit/edis to replace it. maybe some wires got broked?
  12. I want to put the hatch from the 89parts RX on my 88 and I want to put the wing on it but it only has like 3 mounting points (the others broke off) so I want to use some silicone to keep it mounted and keep the water put. but what kind do I use? I've looked but I'm not sure what to look for.
  13. I still think my hatch handles better, but the struts/shocks are slow on it so it has better damping. And the suspension is crap on the RX (except for the struts, they're pretty much perfect) (that’s the only conclusion I could come too besides it just doesn't have the power to over drive its self) but the RX has more power, and its faster. It will get me in trouble if I'm not careful
  14. more pics? hows the car set up?
  15. man I still wish I would have bought that way back when. still looking good.
  16. does the check engine light come on? (like when you turn the ign switch on but don't start it) maybe theres a code and its not tripping the light on the dash or maybe the light is out?
  17. how many bushings do we have in our front ends? control arm, swaybar, steering rack, swaybar endlinks. what else?
  18. then get the job there and have one come up "missing"
