I got NGK plugs and wires on Amazon.

I ordered a set of wires for my 1987 gl with out turbo, The box says that they are for my model with turbo. Does it matter/ will it damage any thing if I use them?

I am going to replace the lower radiator hose on my 1987 gl, do I need to "burp" it after? If so, how do I burp it? ( I kind of a noob question)

Finished Hitachi carb rebuild..... 4 day to clean/rebuild/install/tune due to rain chasing me in, not having a garage sucks. Looking in to a Weber as soon as possible

After checking my vacuum lines and tinkering with the adjustment screws it now idles at about 600 to 800 rpm. As for it burning rich, seems to have evened out after the idle adjustments.

how do I adjust the air and fuel mix?

after some tinkering with the fast idle screw I got it down to about 3000 rpm Now it burning rich, now sure where to go from here.

I replace my hitachi carb on my 87 gl with one that I rebuilt, so now to funny stuff..... I had a high idle at about 2500 rpm, after tinkering with that idle screws, I had got it do to about 1400 rpm. my car usually idles at 700 to 1000 , so I turned the screw again and the idle went up. When I went out today to try to get it down to normal, I turn the key and she turned on. But my motor almost instantly shot up to red line, it's like the gas petal all the way down. I quickly turned the car off and pulled the top of the air box off. I noted that the butterfly was open all the way. when I close it, It stays open about an 1/8 of inch. Any ideas about how to fix this?

Yeah I know that the battery is not connected, I disconnected it for storage and I have already ordered battery tie downs.

Unfortunately I bought it that way, the guy I got it from had taken it muddin a few weeks before i got it.

Should I buy more than one bottle, and do they sell it at walmart? And Is there any thing that I should keep dry?

How do I clean this, I used some gunk engine degreaser and this is cleaner than it was.

I have been doing a lot of searching about rebuilding my stock hitachi. I know that webber is much easier to maintain, but I can't afford to make the swap and I still have emission to pass. Is it possible to rebuild a hitachi? How hard is it to tune? Where do I find new vacuum line? any tips and advice

do I still have to get a test in 2014 or is 2012 my last one?

I would like to put a weber on my 1987 gl, Is this legal in Washington? I am confused because when I put this on there I read that I am changing/removing the emission standards on the vehicle. Sorry, if this sounds like a simple question, but if I don't ask, I don't learn.

is there any other parts that I need, besides the carb and adapter?
