  3. My 1987 Gl Side marker lights won't go off unless I pull the fuse or disconnect the battery . I have no idea where to start with this, any thoughts?

  9. The light comes on when the 4x4 isn't engaged. I went and opened up the brakes and found this
  10. Is it normal for the 4x4 light on the dash to come on when I take off and then go off when I reach cruising speed?
  11. I looked at my ujoints today they look good, I don't know how to check the carrier bearing. I drove it today I put it in 4X4 and it felt like the rear end locked up for a few seconds, And I left skid marks in the road. Something that I forgot to mention is the my car has been siting for months, waiting on tabs.

  13. My 1987 gl makes a knock while driving in straight line at about 10-15 MPH, It does sound like it's coming from the right side.It feels like I drove over something. All from CVs look good and I can't find any thing else that looks bad. I do have a bad ball joint on that side, would that make noise while going straight? Any thoughts ?
  14. I have a 1987 gl ea82. I replaced the alternator, and it ran fine for a while but my tick of death has got worse. now It seems like it is have a hard time starting. Any thoughts ?

  21. I have a 1987 gl with a 1.8 ea82, I holds oil but is covered in it. The ticking has gotten louder on start up, I read on here that resealing the motor would help with the tick. So with resealing, do I just replace the gaskets? Do I need to resurface any thing? Any special tools? Any other thoughts? I am sorry if these are noob questions, Thank you for your help. Here's some pics
