How far down on the gas mileage?

I have a 1987 gl with stock carb, I am wondering about the weber carb. does it increase power? and if so does it lower my mpg? What is the main reason for doing this? Thanks for any and all input on this

What kind of tries are those?

I am just wondering about locking gas caps, If there are any the work better than others. I came up with a 1/4 of a tank missing in my 1987 gl.

I think I have an extra, do you want to trade the ratchet for the compressor and bracketry? Is the compressor in working order?

I was wondering about adding AC to my 1987 gl, Can I just rip out the ac on an other gl? Has this been done before or is there a write up about it?

All of my fluids are normal, as far as I can tell. yes it's wet I think that it's coolant.

I found this on the passenger side of my 1987 gl, how serious is this and how hard is it to fix? and is it safe to drive?

I found a stock radio, that is in better shape than my old one.... And has the tape deck

I took this pic before taking everything a part, I can't seem to find the a home for the red one, I think that is goes to the air box but I can't find any blank hose spots.

I just changed the plugs and wire. I rebuilt the carb just a few days before. Now my 1987 gl is hesitating when I take off or rev it, not real bad but just long enough to tell. My old plugs were gapped at .050, I gapped the new one to .040( like the Haynes book said). Not sure if that matters. I don't know where to start on this, I am not sure if its the carb out of tune or the new plug/wires.
