"Stock 04 wrx" isn't turbo'd, I'm probably missing something and there probably is some stock wrx with a turbo but I really don't think so

Does your engine idle normally but shake violently? Or can you hear a hiss coming from your motor? I just had the same problem but I found a bad leak where the dude above me said to spray carb cleaner

Ea82 88 gl 5 speed.... Things to note: I have blead the brakes in the correct order multiple times. My hill holder stopped working months ago and shortly afterwards I started noticing the brakes getting weaker and weaker. I have 0 familiarity with the hill holder and really can't drive without brakes, please helllpppp

Yesterday I sat down... Looked at the remains of my wheelbearing that managed to destroy the innards of my wheel hub. Instead of Just replacing axle and hub, I decided to remove the CV axles, cut off the hub end and lock it so that its holding the new wheelbearing... So far I've been driving it for 50 miles or so and it's holding up nicely... Just had to tell someone I was proud considering I don't do anything out of the ordinary to my cars

I was talking to an owner of a Subaru shop and he was talking about an early 90s Legacy LSD Diff that swaps directly into my GL... I'ma talk to him later today but I might go down that path, considering its probably built a little better than my current diff lol

Good idea, I'm gonna be able to probably literally make money off this car in the long run doing that, I'm picking it up for 250

I have a (Converted)Rwd EA82 spfi N/A 88 GL wagon, someone is offering me a dirt cheap 89 flat 6 XT6 and I have no idea what to take other than the 5 lug stuff? If there are any parts interchangeable between the cars that have ANY worth or even look cool that I wont notice, I would love to hear about it

I don't know the difference between the two but I've definitely made the connection between the bounce and a cam'd domestic lol so I'd say domestic

Car physically bounces... And yeah I really think that there might be just enough wear from the strut to the engine mount for it to shake, but isn't 700rpms still a really low idle?

88 gl 4wd spfi. My engine mounts are fine but I will try what Indrid mentioned after school today. Also a guy I know (Who really does know his old soobs) Said it might be my front struts, I'm lowered just on springs and my struts are dying so is it possible that they would make it more likely to bounce at low rpms? Only reason why I doubt that is because it stops as soon as I bring it up to around 1k.. Sorry I wasn't specific before but I'll post later on results, thanks!

Look into your axels, mine looks fine but today it completely took a dump after doing it for a month

Is fuel coming out the tailpipe when its idling? I really don't know much about engines but that would be a huge clue

Its idling around 700rpms and I felt like asking, before I replace stuff that I've replaced not that long ago, if anyones had this random problem. The bounce it has when idling is just horrible, can't look at your phone because you move too much haha. Thanks

Yeah the same thing happened to me, I had to get to school and the junkyard so I just through some metal in there... I was stumped for an hour though because it looked fine haha

I heard that Les Schwab will actually take steelies and drill them for you so in an hour or so I'm gonna check up on that... But seriously the search for wheels is way to damn hard haha

Just remove the rust before you use any enamel

I was doing this just the other day, SUCH a good idea... I doubt I'll find a good solution for it but if I do i'll post in here.
