I think this one may be slower.

Feeling kinda bored, so I will share the pictures of the engine rebuild. I never got around to that when I started the thread.
Cleaned the engine compartment
Nice shiny new parts -
Suber-Smokies from Iceland.

The previous owner probably bypassed the temp sensor and wired the fan so that it would stay on as long as the car is on or on "acc".
It is a pretty common half-a** fix.

some ********************* kid texting and driving Rearended me
Bad luck... That is so frustrating, you fix one thing that someone broke, only for another person to mess up something else. Its like you can't have anything nice, because sometime or another some idiot will come along and mess it up for you. I feel your pain... I'm lucky nothing has happened to my (current) ride yet. *knock on wood*

Don't forget the rocket pack...
Great job, you have done well on your hatch.

TheLoyale said:If you look at this image, the car is stuck. Its too deep for that style of tire, plus having open diffs. Yeah, that picture is kinda a "lie" if you will.
That was my thought too... Ooops
I'm sure it could make it up that snow covered hill no problem, the driver is at fault for bogging down.
And another one...

Man... I will dream about H12's tonight.
In other (old) news.
-
FHI only made two or three of the H12 engines durring their short flight in formula 1. They didn't do well so thier formula 1 plans were scrapped. I don't know all the details about the one that was on ebay. Such as if it was a hoax or not. But if it was it would most certainly be a collectors item, never to see an engine compartment.

Updates
I installed a new center console; so I have a new shifter ball, shift console, 4wd console, and ebrake/coin tray console.
Deffinately cleans up the middle of the car.
Before
After
The only downside is the leather around the shifter kinda gets in the way when going through the gears. There is some linkage slop in this baby kinda like driving a big manual tranny truck.
So that means I will have to tackle the linkage slop next, or just remove the leather. lol
Next will be a new radio console and radio.
Also, I realized that the only bad seat is the drivers seat. :-p
The passenger seat just has a few little stains, while the drivers side is held together by ductape. -

Idasho said:No cooling system to worry about though. Thats a huge space saver.
Hmm, that is true... Lol pros and cons for both I guess.
Yes, a gen1 lego isn't older gen, but this wheeler deserves to be in this thread.
