well i leaned something new about my engine the water pump is completly contained the cast pipe up top is what connects it to the cooling passages instead of having everything inside the block half casting found my exhaust leak all thats left now is oil pump exhaust bell housing and motor mounts some may say that im going slow with this but i cant do anything else till friday when i can get the cherry picker so im taking my sweet rump roast time to kill bordum

weber is by far superior even is you swap to a ea81 carb its still a hitachi hitachi cant make a good down draft carb to save there life

front wheel bearingS are easy to deal with as long as you have any mechanical skill at all the hesitation comes from the stock hitachi having crappy accel pumps these arent race carbs there economy carbs

thats about what i was expecting it to be at if it works that well i might have to make a similar set up im surprised the weber air cleaner assembly is holding up under boost ive taken them and just twisted them in my hands why would i want more? simple my friend more boost= more power lol but then again i wouldnt really want alot in my dd that i drive on ice

why not carpet like from the factory? a roll of auto carpet form the parts house or even walmart is only 10 or so bucks and the bed coating was it the stuff out of a spray can? cause from personal experience the spraycan stuff doesnt last long

dude get a dremmel and cut the sock radio opening to accept a radio its not that hard at all your gonna have to cut the rear pannels for speakers anyway

i have a shitload of subi parts floating around and im going threw them and selling some off more parts will be added later but here is a start like i said these are all for ea71 engines may work on the later ea81 but i make no promises of that will ship at buyers expense located in LaPine oregon later air cleaner assembly for use on carbs with the traditional center stud has surface rust but nothing a little sanding and paint cant fix $20+ shipping early clamp style air cleaner assembly the threaded rod broke will need to be drilled and tapped with a new bolt $15+shipping later ea71 intake manifold complete with emissons equipment and hoses no egr i took it to use on my engine $40+shipping air injection tubing "spider" in good shape no cracks in the tubing threads are good and was removed with a proper line wrench so the heads arent all screwed up $20+shipping later ea71 cylinder heads in good shape all valves seat correctly but due to blown head gaskets at some point in this engines life there is surface rust in the combustion chamber need to be cleaned up i dont really want to part with these but if i might be tempted to part with them for $150+ shipping (might be a little high) ea71 valve covers i have 3 spares all in similar condition paint could use a polish on all $15+shipping each all prices are best offer may also consider trades for things like a grant wheel adapter for a first gen wagon

an egr valve is an egr valve just order a new one at the parts house as for air injection ive been looking at how it works on mine and i think i have an extra floating around i can send you

yeah re jetting it is the only way to really dial a weber in your not supposed to notice a difference in performance or gas mileage but rather drivability i know with my hitachi there is a delay between when the accel pump stops and mains start that goes away with a weber
