  4. OEM is all I use on my Subaru's OE plugs are NGK's and there is nothing wrong with the OE NGK platinums.... Jamie
  5. Impreza tails are gonna be goooo'd in... trust me - i've swapped mine and if you dont use ribbon sealer to reseal them in, they will leak... you have been warned Jamie
  6. confirm that you have remove the interior covers remove the bolts/nuts holding the assy into place and it's not moving at this point? if this is the case your Forester is likely like our 98-2001 Imprezas those tails are "glue'd" into place get a hair dryer or heat gun and warm the surface-seam push....... hard. does it move? Jamie
  7. what's your vin #..... pm me... and I'll look it up for you. (i work for Subaru) Jamie

  9. thanks for the compliments the support is much appreciated Jamie
  10. excellent it probably took a drive cycle to clear the code is all.... ABS system can be a tricky one to work on and work with sounds like you did great!
  11. they work and know subaru... my dealership (a subaru dealership in WA state) uses them for calibration when needed.... why not just give them a call?
  12. I've not had much luck with Napa rebuilds blew 2 of them up immediately... took them back for 'warranty' but warranty on a crap item like that is worthless I learned I rebuild my axles now, and I go through plenty of them yay rally car.... yay big rocks.... yay for 5 spare axles on hand Jamie
  13. what you need is a company that specializes in this http://www.tacomaspeedometer.com/index/ perhaps contact them and inquire?
  14. sensors need to be replaced yes module may need to be replaced as well - I am not 100% sure.
  15. do you have an owners manual? info should be in the owners manual
  16. is there an extreme amount of rust? what caused the axle to be stuck on release? try cleaning/scraping off as much rust as possible if present clean everything up... see how it goes if it's not going to work, you will know and yes, hub replacment may be what needs to occur. Jamie
  17. what exactly did you replace? sensor itself + ring? who did the installation? and the silliest question of all... you did check your brake fluid level right? Jamie
  18. so you can confirm the button was there but has fallen off? if so, what you need to do is splice in a new on/off switch in the exact location that the button was once present had to do this on my 01 as the button fell off keyless/alarm was no longer properly grounded and the alarm would go off at random - even while driving! spliced in a new on/off switch (where the button was originally located) reprogrammed the remote and it has been fine since Jamie
  19. subaru offers a stiffer spring in their SPT lineup see: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=626 this wont slam or lower the car much but will add to performance and capabilities of the car shout with questions. Jamie
  20. reset button is "missing????" how long has it been missing? if this button has fallen off then the keyless kit will cause the alarm to go off at random as well as cause drain on your battery certain there is no button? can you find the wiring beneath the dash that leads to there the button should be? Jamie
  21. subaru uses a SHOCK in the 2003 Legacy, not a "strut" mount like you're used to... Shock mounts w/one bolt, not 2... strut top/shock are 1/3rd the size of your typical "strut" mount setup. completely different design guys.... Jamie
  22. rear strut mounts are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT not going to work.... Jamie
