  1. hey, where is that light in the dash that you can diagnose problems with? i seem to have forgotten. thnx.
  2. The past weekend i drove to new jersey to pick up some pugs and averaged about 35 miles per gallon in my 92 loyale I love this car more and more every day. Praise be to 90 horsepower!
  3. Well it better last me 700 more miles, because i'm going to New Jersey and back. The dealer wants 250 dollars for him to replace it...I'll be tackling this job myself. Thanks for the advice. Taggs
  4. I was talkin to this Soob dealer, and he told me I should replace my timing belt at 52k miles if it hasn't already been done. He said they go bad on Loyale's at about that mileage. Is this true, or is he tryin to get me to waste my money at his shop?
  5. So, the other day I was driving my newly purchased 92' Loyale Nerd wagon, and I noticed that I was unable to coast backwards on the hill I was sitting on. This being odd because my car is a 5 speed. The clutch was depressed and I was in 1st gear. The brake pedal was no depressed, however. My dad said he can remember Subaru advertising this a while back. So, what is this function called, and how does it work? Put those gears into motion. Taggs
  6. That might be the weirdest thing I've ever heard in my life. Ever.
  7. Just thought of this....When you talk to your insurance company, they'll record your conversation.....so dont change your story around too much. Good luck
  8. Alright fellas, lemme start by saying, "What would I do without your expert advice?" Now that I've covered that.... On with my perplexing question! Here it is... I have a 1992 Subaru Loyale and am getting 15" pug tires soon. What's the largest size tire I can fit on my Nerd Wagon without rubbing. I have no lift kit. I've heard I can fit 27" tires, but what size is that? I"m talkin "165/70/r13....gimme a tire size in that aspect please. Thanks
  9. RAIN-X windshield treatment. You won't need wipers after that.
  10. My loyal has a 5 spd manual with push-button 4wd. I'm not sure on tires yet though. My job pays peanuts so, i'm still saving my pennies for the lift/wheels/tires.
  11. I'm looking online for a new set of 15" wheels for my 92 Loyale. I'm a little confused as to what width to go with though. I don't want to have to modify my fender-wells. My choices are as follows, any advice? 15*5.5 15*6 I'm leaning towards the 15*5.5 because they're steel, and less expensive. Will those work? One more question, how difficult is it to install a BYB lift kit onto a 92 Loyale? I haven't much experience with such. Thnx again.
  12. Good news! Your 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback is problem free. Here's some info: 1 previous owner in Colorado No accidents Consistent mileage history, last checked 2/26/02 @ 58,236 miles Clean title. Enjoy
  13. Matt Scott, I'm guessing, right? I graduated a few years ahead of you at Slippery Rock. I'm Chris Taggart, Travis and Ken's cousin. What a small world. ~Weird~
