  1. New Update: Just picked up my 4 inch SLR lift kit, and will be installing it tomorrow! Also got a brush guard from a guy who did the ej swap and had issues, which forced him to park his subie across the street from our feed store. Anyways he gave it to me for free, but the mounts are different and won't work on mine so I'm meeting him next Saturday to hopefully make it work (awesome guy). He also said he has an ej22 that needs to be rebuilt and so that might have something to do with my car's future... Also I'm getting more welding gas tomorrow to finish my roof rack and get it on there tomorrow as well, lights and all. Ruby will look pretty funky with the 4 inch lift and stock tires, but I will hopefully be getting a set of the AT2s sometime very soon.... that's all for now.
  2. Sweet! Check should be there tomorrow or Thursday; apparently there was a delay... anything on the status of my order? (#141)
  3. Alright, check will be in the mail either tomorrow or Sunday.
  4. Update: So due to unforeseen circumstances I'm going to be getting my 4 inch lift kit from SJR very soon! Pretty excited! Also I've been talking to a guy in Spokane about getting some 14 inch pugs he has for sale, so hopefully that goes well too! Yesterday I was looking for something to use as roof rack crossbar feet, and found a Thule roof rack crossbar set! It's on now and tomorrow I hope to get more done on my roof basket itself. One thing I've been thinking about though is how to wire the roof basket lights into the car without it looking sloppy. I know what to do once I get it into the car, but I need to know how to get if from the roof in.... So if there's anyone that's done this I would love to hear how you did it. I'm trying to keep everything looking as good as possible, and since I live in Washington, rain getting in is a big problem. Love to see what you got!
  5. Is that just with an EA82? stock? 3AT means 3 speed auto transmission right?
  6. I'll be able to but I just found out I won't have the money til next weekend. Will that be too late? Also I see that the order was for an adapter plate, whereas I'm after a lift kit. Would that mess things up?
  7. sounds good! I'm pretty much there Monday, Tuesday and Friday from around 2 to 6. On Sunday I'm there 1-5

  8. Dude where at in Monroe do you live? I live in Woodinville right across the valley from Duvall, but I pretty much live in Duvall! I work at Rocking E Feeds (across from the shell station in the red barn). You should stop by sometime with your rig!

  9. hey if order #137 doesn't get back to you any chance I might be able to take his spot?
  10. Could I get a side shot of that roof rack? I want to see how it looks and how it's designed.
  11. Hey where can those brush guards be found?
  12. I'm hoping to get the 4 inch ea82 lift before June.
  13. So about three months ago I bought this beast. And due to busted heads and a very bad carb, I have not been able to get it running til just this last week. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/574689_3698426903263_1353101897_5145382_970768527_n.jpg So far though she's coming along well. two weeks ago we were looking into rebuild kits for the hitachi, but upon receiving the wrong kit, we then decided to get a Weber, rather than wait and pay a lot more for the right kit. So last Monday we drove down to Auburn to Carbs unlimited and picked up the redline Weber kit. That night, my dad and I installed it and I was able to drive it for the first time. Here's the new Weber: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/s720x720/579473_3698425343224_1353101897_5145381_189504204_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/s720x720/538649_3698423583180_1353101897_5145379_1503259984_n.jpg Also, the day before that, I was able to finally install my CB unit, which my brother had gotten me for Christmas: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash2/s720x720/150755_3698424743209_1353101897_5145380_1205694771_n.jpg So, after a long time waiting, we finally got her running! Not bad for only 1100 bucks, after the costs of fixing the heads and getting the carb. Next up my dad and I are gonna build a very custom roof rack, and hope it ends up looking alright. I hope to get the lift kit before June, but as far as the 27 inch tires go, I'd like to know what kind of gas mileage people have been getting before I commit to getting those... let me know what you think!
  14. Hey Markus, on the wagon, what kind of lights are those on the roof rack and where'd you find that brush gaurd?
  15. Hey I'm looking for some good ideas for brush guards and have only found a few. I have an 86 gl wagon; could I see some of your bumper set ups and where you found them or how you built them?
  16. Alright I'm also interested in the wheel converter kit for the 5 bolt pattern. Do you need any notice beforehand? I'm planning on getting up there in early March.

  17. Also if I wanted could I just drive up there to get any stuff i buy?

  18. Do you ever have sales or discounts on your kits? specifically your ea82 4in lift kit? got an '86 GL that needs lifting!

  19. Hey guys. I'm pretty much new here. I own an 1986 Subaru Grand Luxury. The engine just got put back together so hopefully I'll be driving it soon here. it's got 350k miles on it and the heads were cracked, but hopefully it'll run nice! Nothin' fancy, just a 1.8l, but it'll do! It's only had one owner, with only a middle man who sold it to me when the first owner gave it to him. Anyways my hope and dreams are make just a few additions: Brush gaurd (exactly like suby rebel's), roof rack+basket, 4 inch, SJR Lift, 27 All-terrains, weber carbs, and a nice sound system. Maybe even a general lee horn for kicks and giggles...
  20. Dude I love that brush gaurd! You make it yourself?

  21. Hey why is the 4 inch lift more common on ea81 and not so common on the ea82?

  22. how much for a 4 inch lift on an '87 gl ea82?

  23. Wow. I'm also 17, have an '87 GL 4wd Wagon, and plan to do the EXACT same thing as you. Mine's event the same color, and just as straight a body! That'll be a nice rig!
