  1. Man I am so stoked for this! Hopefully has a mud pit!
  2. Mike, I just want to see your beer staff again this year. And try not to get a southern guy to attempt to rape me.
  3. If you want 4 inches, i would look into King Springs. They have a 1" and possibly 2" lift spring kit. Then the rest you could lift with strut top blocks.
  4. Thanks everyone for the responses. I have to get the car on a high enough jack and give the tires a spin to see which wheel bearing it is, then I'll be getting to work.
  5. Because your lift is probably better. I'm starting to lean towards wheel bearing.
  6. it goes away after 10mph... Wheel bearing is more high pitch i thought? I could switch the tires, but thats a pain in the rump roast. My jack doesn't lift my car high enough so i have to put a jack on the control arm. Could it be that my camber is bad (because it is)?
  7. I have replaced both front axles recently and I know they are at a bad angle because of my lift but i don't think the noise is coming from them (sound still there right after changing them). It's by the front drivers side wheel and I just had to clamp down my axle boot (original clamp came off from Browns Camp). The noise has been happening for a while, its just gotten quieter. You can hear it at about 5-10mph then it goes away. I am completely boggled. Help me out! Garrett
  8. I'm always willing to give it a try. I'm going to Browns Camp tomorrow so we will see how that goes.
  9. What would be the minimum lift for this trip? I would love to go but you guys are lifted much more than me. I have 2.5" lift on a Forester with 28's. I highly doubt it is enough
  10. I'm not saying I wouldn't go, it would just take a lot of saving. Last year has me locked into it forever.
  11. After a long, drunken weekend, the drive home will be terrible. Plus that's like 4 tanks of gas for me.
  12. That's at least an 8 hour drive for us Oregonians. Somewhere neutral, maybe Seattle area or something would be nice. I was up in Carnation and they probably have stuff around there.
  13. I just want to know so I know when to start saving for gas driving from south of Portland.
  14. Go to General Disorder's, he knows what he is doing. That's where I get all my work done at.
  15. Well seems like you have a lot to do Aaron. Depending on what ej25 parts you have, I may need some for my franken motor if I can get around to doing it. I get paid on friday so I'll be ordering my lights after that if you are still willing to do that welding.
  16. Well after he puts in the new motor we hope to do it again. You are welcome to tag along.
  17. Well if you are looking for some extra cash in a week from now, I should be ordering my hellas and will need that light tab welded on. Are you gonna put the dual-range in while you have the motor out?
  18. I went on some telephone line service trails with a buddy of mine. Then we headed up the hills of the gorge to get some snow. And we found plenty of it. Thank god I bought a 3/16" skid plate from Primitive. My buddy was not so lucky and lost his brand new franken motor.
  19. I have a big new thing to take this year, my own subaru! Last year was the best party ever when night set in. Been looking forward to it every day.
  20. 2.5" strut top lift. 28" wildcats A/T (will have wheelin pics after tomorrow!!!)
  21. I'm going out to the gorge on Sunday for some light wheelin before we go to Browns Camp on march 18th. But I'll talk to the guy I'm going with to see if he would be interested.
  22. Hey Greg, I'm pretty much a neighbor to you (I'm in Sherwood). I would love to see the hatch sometime and check out some of your wheelin' places! My Forester is wanting some mud really bad.
  23. So my Forester doesn't have an EGR and it won't pass emissions because its throwing a P0401 code. The really crapper thing is that the engine doesn't have the port for the EGR either. Do get one, it would take about $600 worth of work since it is far past my mechanical skills. My friend at work suggested resisters but General Disorder said that probably wouldn't work. Does anyone know any tricks so i can pass DEQ? As a last resort, I will register it to be a primary car at a place where DEQ is not required but that could come back to bite me.
  24. My foz is being really weird at the gas station. Here in Oregon, they fill up your gas for you. Everytime they pull the handle, less than half of a gallon later, the pump stops. It may run for a gallon or two but then it will shut off again. I do not know what would be making the gas splash up and hit the nozzle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Garrett Edit: This has happened at two gas stations now...
  25. General Disorder on here lives in Oregon City and he could probably help you out. Look him up.
