- Considering buying a 1988 GL-10 Wagon with EA82T - HELP!
i have a choice of 3 subies a impreza obs and a lagecy outback and a loyale for daily drivers although the ej cars are faster handle better i choose to drive the loyale the power difference isent that much from 1to the other as set up the loyale lightened up with a few minor mods and useing low range gearing it dose ok and seems to be more reliable than both then 97 outback and the 2000 obs even though the loyale is lifted and beat on and driven harder than the other 2 but ill tell you what that impreza sure is fun on the back mountain roads- insperation moves me brightly

youall have inspired me i started a plate style bumper its gona have a bull bar wrap around head light cage that will tie in to a set of tube fender flairs and tie in to the L angle sliders i am looking for ways to lighten up the rig to offset the extra steal i already removed the rear seats i gutted a extra set of rear doors and will be removing the back windows and skinning with sheet metel for a pannel wagon look if anyone has any ideas of where to lose waight would be a great help- Home built gen 3 bumpers
looks way to big for the car but shrink it alittle maybe I feel a bummper is coming on- Home built gen 3 bumpers
just finished the rear bumper http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s622/ferp420/20131117_154503_zpsefdc3a87.jpg ill do a bumper thread in the parts section here soon- Home built gen 3 bumpers
i think that would be sick if they made thoughs for a subaru thats closer to what i wanted to build but kid wanted a tube bumper with the buggie bar kinda like the one im running- Home built gen 3 bumpers
the outback bumper is about 80lb heave but thats what they wanted back bumper is still in the works my loyale bumper is about 40 lbs light weight thin wall but strong enuff for the light weight loyale although i did destroy the back bumper and had to repair it its much stronger now after pulling a stuck jeep out of the sand stupididty was documented on youtube lol before- Home built gen 3 bumpers
here one i just finished for a outback here is my loyale bumper- ej swap spfi question
would it be posable to run the loyale ecu and spfi set up on a ej18 i know the sensors and plugs will be wrong or missing but would it run i might be geting a ej18 for a trade on some work i dont think it would be as good as stock but if it will work i have extra ea82 stuff ecu wiring harness whole care less the body if its possable to do it would make a great combo for the bug or if it would pass smog would it be worth doing the swap on a loyale and for that matter would the spfi work on a ej2.2 the 2.2s get better gas mileage than the ea82 dose would the throtle body give enuff fuel to run a 2.2 im sure its just easyer to use the right ecu and harness than to get and mod all the parts to run spfi on a ej engine just curiose if anyone has tryed something like this or has tryed to run the spfi setup on any other motors kinda like a standalone setup- extending linkage
it could be stuck in 4wd it happens also looks like it just needs a hair more clearance just bend the shifter alittle i dont see any reason to cut and weld it cant be that far off- 94 Loyale dead in the water
have you tryed hot wireing it to eliminate a igintion problem + wire from battery to + side of coil if nothing else it will narow down the problem down to coil.dissy and condenser if it starts its electrical and could be bypassed easy and cheap till the problem can be found and repairedAccount
