  1. Here's the part number...no luck on my end, gonna keep looking after i post this...Think there'd be somewhere that has em! NIFCO 3B47 2
  2. Hey i sent you a PM but i guess u didn't notice it haha...I live in PA so chances are i won't be in the bay area:-p Would you be able to ship me a few and we can work something out??? I've tried everywhere...since no one has loyale's in their yards you pretty much my last hope!
  3. i figured it was some kind of abs...i just can't believe how impossible it is to find em...you would think they'd be somewhere:confused:
  4. Forgive me if you know this:clap:...but make sure you install these clips into the molding first...Then insert everything into the door once you are positive it all lines up as they are a pain to get back out...(As I found out:banghead:)
  5. Umm, plastic? :-p I really don't know...What sucks is all 3 are good except for the part that broke off that goes into the body...My dilemma is i can buy the actaul piece of body moulding...but idk if it comes with the clips...and its under 40 bucks...
  6. Anyone know where to get those clips? i've been calling everywhere with no luck:banghead: Its the passenger side rear on a station wagon.
  7. I was VERY surprised no one said anything about the car...Yes i do actaully have a card exactly like that..except of course my name is not Lee Cardhold:-p However, i was not aware and did look for a clip of this horrid sounding commercial. Ironic to say the least. But i do get compliments when i use it and considering it is a credit card i try not to that much lol. :clap:UPDATE: Due to hurricane Sandy (i can use that as an excuse) i backed into a tree. It was dark and i was tired and i am going to make every excuse I want to:D... Luckily it only hit the right rear body moulding. But 2 of the holders are on car and the rear most holder snapped...CAN I BUY JUST THE HARDWARE OR DO I HAVE TO BUY EVERYTHING????
  8. Very nice car!!! Awesome work you've done to her:headbang:
  9. ^ very good list Granted Aside from front exhaust and "The tick of death" (everything to check for is like any other car) which can be attributed to a bad "oil pump seal" which is fixable of course...but if you buy it i would change all timing belt stuff (pulleys, belts, etc) might as well do water pump too... I would also warm it up and make sure the cruising oil pressure at 4,000 rpm is around 42 to 46 ibs.
  10. Gotta ask whats all involved...we talking just driveshaft, rear end, rear suspension change, rear hub change (XT6 conversion would be done!) All bolt in pretty much??? What all needs done to tranny? If there's a thread i can go to please send me there;)
  11. Awesome looking car! Mine is the same color..if i ever do anything to it i'm gonna have to go with aluminum wheels! What a clean look these cars can have! If i have a 2wd how do i convert the rear to 5 bolt??? And also where did you get the lip for the front valence???
  12. This about sums it up...I mean after i put the stock intake back on i noticed an improvement...While not a performance motor by any means i think subaru put everything in place very well. I just still wish i had a 5 speed:cool:
  13. Lots of interesting info there! I indeed did use FELPRO HG's...and of course that was before i realized it's best to just use OEM subaru parts...Granted felpro makes a very good product! Honestly I can't see putting any money into the EA82 performance wise...Its perfect for what it is and meant to be. Plus its keeps me on the right side of not losing my license!:-p Now if the motor ever did blow i'd be doing a full engine tranny swap! Than it'll turn into a sleeper!
  14. If that car was a woman i would do naughty things!
  15. Opps i misread the post...this is what i use on my EA82...i was gonna delete this post but i don't know how haha. I also used the Accel Coil with no problems!...looks cool too:brow: Also use NGK wires and Plugs and the BWD/Intermotor stuff for cap and rotor http://www.jegs.com/i/Accel/110/8140C/10002/-1
  16. I was so happy when i realized it had full independent suspension! Tho my front struts are due for a replacement...shocks are gushy:-p
  17. I WISH it was a standard...i know very well the car would be more fun...but the 3AT is unique in that its a hydraulic tranny, and god forbid i refer to the loyale as a sports car; in the twisty's the auto does feel like a standard (well err sort of) And honestly the car handles incredible well for what it is. I average 26 and above. 28 seems to be the norm I get around 24 to 26 city as long as i drive it nice. I keep it very well tuned as well (mobil one 10w-30 helps!). When i run on the highway tho i run about 55mph at 3100 rpm i think...i don't like to run it too fast...:-p
  18. That was my idea...kinda like a carb where you gotta go up jets when you do modifications... I did change it back to stock because for one it was surging after 4k at WOT and just had no power at all. Still would climb rpm's but no power... This honestly made me realize the car is good like it is. i cleaned the MAF and cleaned the EGR out. Runs a lot better.:-p Time for a better radio! Thanks to all who commented!!!
  19. I know there are many variables to this... And if there's a thread or page regarding this please let me kno. I'm just wondering how much work and what all i'd need to do in order to do a swap from a Auto to Manual...plus an engine. Thanks!
  20. Thanks for the info i will be checking out injectors to see about any ideas!
  21. Ya, i was afraid id get this answer...If i wasn't tight on cash i woulda had the heads ported when i redid the motor (all seals, HG's) Now granted its not that much work to take em back off...but alas, is it really worth the trouble?...probably not. Next time the motor comes out im going for a swap. I was bummed to learn there wasn't much to soup one of these motors up. I absolutly love my loyale...if it was 4wd i'd have more fun...but i gotta go with power and from this and everything i've read a swap is the only mod to do so.
