This is a similar discussion to ones that have bean on here before! I would say that this warrants an explanation from some SOA people that are here on the board....you know that somebody has to be on here that knows somoething about this issue, whether or not they work at SOA...at least related somehow with SOA! I think there was a thread a while ago about the new Turbo Foresters....and somebody responded about the drive and feel of the new Turbo Forester....I forget what his name is, but I am certain that he said he was affiliated somehow with production tests or something. I know I bought my new Subaru based on what Subaru I had previously owned, just like other people. What does that say about the future of potential sales? (((SOA: What in the world is going on???))) I am stating the differences because I have owned an 02 Impreza AND an 03 Legacy!!...and on more than just fit and finish!! 3 Major differences right off the top of my head: 1) Annoying air leak when at highway speeds from driver door 2) A/C failure before 5,000 miles 3) Noticable engine ping/piston slap when cold....mild when warm None of this with my Impreza! That car was PIMP.....May it rest in peace!! Josh!

Miles always leaves the covers off....and with all the loose debris floating around his Trashwagon engine compartment, he never has any problems....You'll be alright...and save a lot of time if you ever have to replace them again....and as long as Subarus last...you just might be! Rachet on the crank pulley, never happened here! Josh!

Dude, why don't you buy the clutch kit (which includes the throw-out bearing) and replace all of it yourself. If you have not done it before, I am sure you can find someone with some experience somewhere! If it doesn't work, you can keep the new clutch kit and throw it on your "new" tranny! AND, you could save some serious green! My two copper coins! Josh!

Well, you know......uh......well....if you didn't need it.....I would take it off your hands........if you didn't need it! The 1.8 I have for my Impreza is NOT in the best shape and I don't want to put a bad motor in my Legacy....so...... (I will be putting my Legacy 2.2 in my Impreza...but my Legacy is in good shape, so to put a sick 1.8 in it would kill me! But, I could always swap back if I wanted to drive the Legacy! It would be nice to have another 2.2!) Josh!

I think you are driving a trashwagon! My 93 Impreza has a similar situation...no lights, but the fuses all check out.....had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a cig lighter plug in neon glo-stick....it bumps to the tunes:rolleyes:! Waiting for my wiring diagram to come in! Last owner was a wiring pro:moon: ! By the way......TomRhere said you can get a radiator off the internet for 99.00 inc shipping....I don't remember the name....not a bad deal!

Hey bud...just curious, why didn't you buy a lower degree temp thermostat? Isn't it better to have a lower temp thermostat for top engine performance? Or am I way off on this one? Or, does the fact that you live in a winter wonderland have anything to do with the 180 degree? Josh!

If I were you, I would be looking hard for a five-speed!....as I am looking for an AWD..... Have you ever done an auto to five spd conversion? It seems like everybody and their brother has done an EA conversion, but this would be the first EJ I have heard of! PIMP! Josh!
