just wondering how come it wont let me post pictures in the members gallery

mine is a 89 rx fulltime 4wd

does anyone have a diagram of the vacume hoses to the center diff mine works but its missing a vacume line and you have to switch the one line to get it to shut off

the reason the kid wanted to get rid of it was it had a vibration so he replaced all 4 cv axles. wheel bearings,lower ball joints and tie rods and when he put one strut on he didnt tighten the bolt that hold the hub to it and it wobbled really bad and he didnt know what to look for so i drove 200 miles away with mine and traded then i used his tools to fix the wobble and i was on my way. its rust free also and the sedan had alot of rust.. but the vibration he was feeling was a ujoint going out so i have to replace that.. and i turned the boost down to 9 lbs here is a pic of it all clean

ON MY 1987 RX I REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT AND MY ELECTRIC FAN WENT OUT BUT IT WONT GET WARM YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD OVER HEAT BUT DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT SPEED IT SITS RIGHT AT THE COLD MARK AND THE HEAT IS NOT VERY WARM NOW IF I SIT AT A LIGHT IT STARTS TO GET WARM BUT THEN COOLS OFF AGAIN WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS

IS THERE ANY PICS OF WHERE THE VALVE IS I NED TO DO THAT TO MINE

well i lifted my subie back up i didnt like it lowered what do you guys think before and after pics

well i put it back to stock height well its a little taller then stock i used wagon struts and springs and the thumping is not as bad now but it drives so much better

oh i plan on raising it back up this week if i would have wanted a lowrider i would have got a honda i think a subaru should be a subaru just my 2 cents lol

on my 86 rx when i take off there is a hard thump from under my seat it does the same thing when i hit the brakes i thought it was the rear cv axle because it was bad.. so i changed that and it still does it.. it feels like the driveline my come up into the seat lol.. not sure it is because its lowered and the drivline sits at a bad angle or what but i am getting really upset with it if anyone could help that would be great.. it does have a center bearing on the drivline but i cant seem to find them at any auto parts stores

on my 86 rx the turbo light is not comming on does that mean im not getting any boost from it.. and what do i do if im not

i am pretty new to subarus i just got a 1985 rx turbo sedan for free it runs not much really wrong with i am just wondering because there were only 1500 of them made that were sedans i am not going to engine swap it but are there modifications that can be done to the 1.8 like bigger turbo,here is a pic of my car

its a late 85 year and only 1500 were made i might have to keep this car for ever

on my rx the kid i got it from cut the springs woul it sit higher if i put springs from a wagon on it i dont want a lift kit but i saw some pics of a stock 4 door rx and it sits pretty high and thats what i am looking for just like this rx turbo

i looked at all the members cars and i seem to have the only 4 door rx

i do have some questions like where do i buy the seals for my turbo i am gettin some blow by and does any company make aftermarket headlights for those the stock ones are so hard to find

i just got this car for free a few weeks ago and no nothing about it i know it runs drives stops and looks good and its 4wd i had a 83 gl wagon in the past but someone told me the rx 4 door was kinda rare
