in my 2006 impreza i cannot get my passenger side rear door open it is unlocked on the inside and i pull the handle and nothing is there a secret i am missing?

i have a 2006 impreza and the rubber ring is going out on my harmonic balancer like someone tried to take it off by grabbing the outer ring now it wobbles and i live 40 miles from town. it came this way from the dealership when i bought it last friday. it will cost me 100 bucks for them to look at it and tell me the same thing. i can buy me a new one for that price a put it on myself. so what years will interchange with this part.

how does it work on a 2006 impreza?

got the codes off for a while,about two hrs,just to much oil. still have a problem with the abs light.

i my 2006 impreza the gear shift light doesn't work on the console how do i fix that without scratching or breaking anything?

i checked the oil it was a little over got the cel to go off for a while but now it is back the abs never did go off shouldn't the lot fix that? the ac just needed a belt.

the ac will freeze your little boys off now that i fixed the belt but my harmonic balancer moves around the rubber ring is falling apart and i want to drive it until i get it fixed

i got the codes at autozone they are p0028 which is intake valve control solenoid caused by a bad connection,bad part or too much oil. unplugged the connectors and plugged them back in until they clicked then checked the oil and it was a quart to much drained the quart out and after three cycles the light went out and cruise worked again,for about 1 hr. the other code was p0420 catylyst below threshold bank 1 which means (i think) bad catylist or rich af mixture they both went out for about i hr i was nice when they worked. the dome light was just a bulb,the ac was a broken belt,but why the belt broke i don't know,i think they over tightened the belts. now my harmonic balancer wobbles and moves in and out a little. called were i bought the car and was told it would cost 100 to 150 to diagnose. i just got this car and another 72 payments and its mine. i just gave them 500 bucks down that should fix something.... oh and by the way i cannot get into the rear passenger side door locked or unlocked help...

well i got the numbers off the check engine light from auto zone one is a p0420 catalyst efficiency below threshold-bank one, the other is P0028 intake valve control solenoid circut, where is the intake valve control solenoid? does iot have something to do with variable valve timing? i think i figured out why my ac wasn't working the belt was broke now to figure out why it broke,i can turn all the pullys by hand except the crankshaft i can even turn the compressor but stiff.. got the dome light working just a bad bulb. now to change the bulb in the gearshift.

on my 2006 impreza i was driving home from the dealership and my abs light came on i am going in tomarrow to make a payment maybe they can check it out and find out why the ac doesn't work and the cruise. for 7,000 bucks it should run better than that.

i just bought a new ball joint for my 88 subaru dl wagon. i broke the bolt trying to get the old one out and had to use a pipe wrench to get the old joint out and a blue wrench. i thought the ball joints would be expensive but it was only 8 bucks at autozone and it came with a new bolt. now just new axle bearings and axles and get it running which has to be something simple i remember someone saying a ground wire up by the ecu when i get a chance i will look and if that is all it is boy will i feel dumb.

go to a proctoligist either that or one of your brakes are dragging,might have oil on it.

the last time i worked on this subaru of mine i couldn't take the lower ball joint out of the driver side lower control arm. well i finally got that sucker out,with a pipe wrench and a blue wrench,and yes i took the bolt out first it was just rusted in. i found a new one for 8 bucks it should be in soon but i need the two pinch bolts for the spindle the lower one for the ball joint broke off and the upper one was pretty rusty. anyone know what size they are?many thanks with my ongoing project.

i own a 1988 subaru dl wagon with 4wd. my front wheel bearings have no outer seals is it posible to regrease these bearings? they turn ok but the whole brake area got red hot from locking up . how much are bearings and where do i find the inner and outer seals for the spindles? i ask parts people and they just look at me puzzled.

i think someone told me there was a ground on the studs for the brain box i don't remember hooking one up 99% of electrical problems are poor or no ground. remeber k.i.s.s. keep it simple stupid. in other words try the simple stuff first.

fixed it now one to other problems.
