  3. Yup, someone stored it for us for a few months and then returned it. Same exact one taken this year. We would love it back if anyone did take it as a souvenir... of if anyone saw anything just send us an email to www.westcoastsubarushow.gmail.com. Next year we may just have to keep posted signs closer and take them down at night.
  4. Yup, as soon as I find some time one of these eveing. I'll get a post up on our website with all the winners and pictures also I hope!
  5. I'm so glad she was able to get it back, well at least the important stuff!! All things that went missing or were turned in were eventually found or claimed, I think that attests to what a great community this is. We did lose one sign, but I'm betting on the Toyota boys from town for that one. Thanks to everyone that picked up after themselves, we didn't have to much clean up to do after everyone rolled out Sunday. The planning for next year begins... I talked to a few of you that had some location ideas. Please send them to westcoastsubarushow@gmail.com and we'll check them out.
  6. humm, well I would be a little dissapointed that Lily wont make her first WCSS but I still expect to see you there... I might even give you registration number 1
  7. Bummer man, its always good to see you and the family. I'll just hope you can't say away.. and show up anyways
  8. Unfortunately we got started a bit late with planning for the show this year. Last year was tough on the organizers and really it’s pretty lucky the show even happened this year. We did a committee style organization for the first time for this show - that we think went pretty well. Yes we did lose some "cool" aspects from years past because of time constraints. Next year we WILL have dinner during the awards, I to missed that and will make sure that happens for next year. The Beer glasses WILL be personalized next year. I'm confused by why you only went off-roading for an hour but then say you were bored - so go play more?? The off-road "organized" outing has always been planned by someone not associated with the show - this year no one took that up. Jibs how about next year you plan that? As for the old school scene - maybe you guys can tell us why the turnout was so low? Was it the date, the amount of notice time?… couldn’t have been the location – this was the best old school location EVER! Just a note: we take the negative comments pretty personal; we did spend months of our time to put on the best show we had time for. I think what we pulled off is quite amazing giving the circumstances. We do want the feedback but also remember to give suggestions to improve the show if you didn't like something - don’t just state what we did wrong. Jibs if you do decided to come out next year – which I hope you do since we are starting planning now, and will be the best show ever – and you get bored again track me down and I can put you to work. My feet still hurt from WCSS9 Thanks guys!

  22. This an excerpt from Blowout by Catherine Coulter (released 2004): When there was a sudden pop, loud as a shotgun blast, he flung himself to the side in automatic reaction. The pop was followed by the hard slap of rubber against the asphalt. A blowout, a damned blowout. The Subaru's steering wheel jerked in his hands as the car's back end lurched wildly to his left. He gently eased the car into the skid and let up on the accelerator, but the Subaru's momentum lunged it into a snowbank. Despite his seatbelt, his head slammed against the steering wheel, stunning him for a moment. Then everything was quiet. Savich raised his head, shook it, hoped he hadn't hurt himself, and slowly climbed out of the car. The back driver's-side tire had blown. All in all, he preferred the snowbank to going through the guardrail. He buttoned up his coat, wrapped his scarf tight about his neck, and cleared snow from beneath the left front wheel. Satisfied, he climbed back in and put the gear in reverse. The Subaru hardly hesitated, just backed right out, leaning heavily to the left. Savich climbed out again and collected the spare tire and jack. He called Sherlock, told her what had happened, told her he'd be about twenty minutes late.
  23. No duh! Its just a stock 04 scoop. The STI one is taller, more manly BTW, this is Tex Kevin, nice work on the dyno. Numbers are amazing!
