  1. The front one is just a resonator, The back one is the actual muffler. Heres mine with straight pipe from the resonator back. The rear muffler does the sound killing haha
  2. I will be about 2 hours from there tomorrow but I doubt I will have time. I have a friend that does vehicle shipping though
  3. Since I haven been on since the last time It was bumped... 90 Loyale 4wd First owner was drove the car will she was 82. Maintained amazing Second owner did timing belts and put 9k miles on it. Bought a new car I got it non-running. Fixed and and as of last week it rolled 400k
  4. And my oil pressure sending unit isnt even hooked up right now. All things Im fixing.
  5. Trim is no big deal, I do body and paint work. And yes Im planning on using the dual range when I swap motors
  6. Ok Ive been trying to search. But no definate answers. Im sure they're answered but I cant find them. I have a 90 Loyale with Push button 4wd. Need some body parts and really wanted to find another motor to freshen up when mine finally gives up the ghost (400k) I found an 86 Parts car. I found lots of posts referring to similarities 87-94 But not much on the 86. The 86 is Dual Range, 5 speed. All I have is one picture and not much details. Im assuming 86 is Carb'd? Would all my SPFI stuff bolt onto this motor? Theres supposed to be an extra unknown motor in the back of the car too. Body panels. I need fender, door and corner lights. And possibly the bumper. I know the bumper is different but can I swap it onto my 90? Also will power window connections be the same connector on an 86 vs a 90? Thanks in advance!
  7. Who knew 13s would be hard to come by. They used to be everywhere. I have a full set I am going to sell for cheap.... Nothing special 175s
  8. Just search. Im fairly new as well but theres a ton of great info already posted
  9. When I said I fixed mine a 3 inch straight pipe replaced the muffler
  10. Connect the green connectors under the hood by the driver side strut tower. Turn the key on. the pump should cycle every 3 seconds and you should hear the relay clicking
  11. I just fixed my exhaust for less then $50 using mandrel bends and a chop saw and welder. Bearings arent bad. Rust is fixable
  12. Alot of the ones by the computer are for power options your car doesnt have. I have a bunch going to nothing. Ones by the strut tower are for test mode and resetting codes
  13. I was just looking for it after seeing it mentioned so many times, But Im a newbie.
  14. Aftermarket replacements arent great. Growling could be a CV, I had one growling on my last car. Could also be a wheel bearing on its way out
  15. I was referring to checking corrosion and wiring issues at the sending unit more then the actual unit itself
  16. I know a lot of you guys were helping me on my other topic I'm still working on a lot of stuff so if this could be a possible wiring issue I might find it as I'm fixing a lot of the wiring.Anyway my fuel gauge reads all the way past E and my light stays on for low fuel I have been reading and I noticed that it says that it is two separate wires for the light and the guage the fact that mine are both on kind of confuses me. Do you think I have more electrical issues behind the dash or should I go ahead and pull the panel in the trunk and check out the sending unit first?
  17. Fuel gauge is dead. So I need to tackle that. Time for some fluid changes and finish putting the the exhaust back on. Plus a few days worth or wiring work
  18. Soooo. It runs. I need to crawl back under it and finish hooking up the fuel pump and get some gas in the tank and see how it actually runs but with some gas in the tb it fired off I think I have a bad connection on the front driver spark plug wire can't get it to click on all the way I'll Tinker with it some more tonight and see what we can come up with
  19. These are both one wire sensors right on the front and there's a yellow wire going to nothing in the harness at the top of the motor I think I'm just going to have to start taking pictures of some of this stuff and trying to get all this wiring sorted out whether it runs now or not
  20. I didn't get to go out and try before work this morning had to leave early I forgot to ask last night though does the coolant temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor on the front of the motor have anything to do with how it runs or is it strictly for gauges? Because both of those have about 2 inches of wire hanging off the front and nothing else in sight
  21. I had checked all fuses I thought were related. But somehow not that one. It was popped. Put a new one in. Got door chime and radio working. Put some gas in the tb turned the key. It def sounded diff then before but the battery died after a few cranks. Tomorrow is a new day I suppose. Battery is on the charger. I will feel so dumb if it was just that. But quite honestly everything I've replaced needed attention and the wiring has to be cleaned up correctly to my standards
