hey guys and girls, so i got a 97 outback 2.5 auto with a blown HG for the price of bananas... most of you know i have a 95 lego with a 2.2 auto what is involved swapping the motor from the 95 into the 97? anything i would have to do electrically? i do know mechanically it will be ok also once im done with it, there will be tons of parts up for grabs either free or for a small donation... and a shell of the 95 thanks in advance for any info

how to tell which side is the bad wheel bearing.... mind you i have checked for wheel play already but i cant quite tell which side the noise is coming from.. i know its the front

ok so car is in the shop.... trans taken apart.. the problem was that something went wrong inside destroying lots of things with it.. after all it wasnt the water that was the problem< it was self destruction.. poor subarina is trying to commit suicide!!! :lol: anyway the shop is doing a complete rebuild for 2300 and they will let me pay them in 5 easy payments sigh... still ouch!!!!

no luck... seems like the trans is shot... now no money no car to get to work and no car to get to therapy... this really bites

yes shady stupid auto lol.... now it got a bit better after the 5th flush and i ran some trans flush in it too.... i got another 2 flushes to go

So I happen to have had a mishap with water... After that the tranny lost all gears and even after changing fluids it did not help at all... What else should I do... Is the tranny toasted? Mind that it grabs first when I start. Then after 2 mnts it stops grabbing and it feels like it is in park...

Due to weather conditions and flooding, trails and roads will be closed by saturday.... We will have to reschedule this outing :-\
