  1. I have a legacy with auto belts and they are messing up can I replce with manual type? Thanks
  2. I have an intermittent speedo not working and am wondering just how to test for which part. the cheezy manual says there are 2 VSS sensors one near the front of the trans and one on the t case area, and a buffer in the cluster, are they both for the speedo, or is one used for ABS? any help is greatly appreciated, cheers!
  3. still suspect the belt is not timed right?
  4. i have some rims 18x7.5 with a 35mm offset and my buddy has tires 255/45R18 and want to know if they will fit on a stock legacy OBW rims look like this but gunmetal, I have tried calculators and searches but want to hear from others who have had these or what the max tires they have had on an OBW, or what the biggest on a stock legacy OBW with no cutting or rubbing, thanks
  5. cool just thought I'd ask, also my replacement gaskets were subis this time, heads and intake are back on
  6. well i am putting in new head gaskets in my 99 OBW and they sent a thin one and the old ones were thick and like 4 plates, it only had 139,000km but when they ran it low on trans fluid the heat from slipping, low on fluid (rev and not going anywhere) went into the cooling system and it over heated, so i call Beck Arnley tech support and they call back later oh sorry buddy our fault the kit should have been labeled for a 05-07 2.5 so i had already torqued with new bolts etc and now have to re pull it all. anywho new shat here tomorrow and the parts store is going to replace the bolts and supplement gaskets under warranty. but after how hard is it to add a turbo to this motor , and where to get it, or plain old just dont bother? thanks, yes i did some searching
