  1. put a vac guage on it, it sputters as vac drops but not before, i found a vac leak, it was the egr solenoid so i plugged it, will see if it changes tomorrow, but the vac advance isnt working. there is something on pass strut says cruise pump, anyone know what it is? and vacuum routing?
  2. all day Sat or Sun?, i pulled the 92 in and yanked the motor to get at all the junk i need, would the disty off it work? if not i'll be over, it ran smooth from the shop to store then sputtered all the way home, just now
  3. fired up to drive home tonite was colder than yesterday and it was worse than when it was warmer outside, keep in mind i have changed coolant sensor(no codes present at this time),different MAF(for test)& plugs, next cap rotor and wires
  4. i will check, now it starts good and runs ok but if i try to drive away after starting it will buck and back fire, if i let off to idle for a couple seconds it will take off, then get to end of block and the idle is surging then drive back down the block and its all good, so its something during warm up
  5. gonna try new plugs and different disty the vac adv. feels shot , but if it was it should be crappy all the time youre one to talk ive seen your shenanigans with Dan last week too. cant wait to lift and wheel, i think im gonna bend stuff!
  6. still acts up during warm up lower rpms the turbo spools up but no power some backfiring, when warm its a rocket
  7. anyone? seems to be mostly when cold and has a surging idle as warm up, also seems to have lots of power after 3000rpm, when its bagged the turbo is spooled i can hear it whistling
  8. today had a code 33 so changed the coolant sensor on the rear x over near pass head, code gone but still bagged under load ratlles a bit and slight backfiring until i let run a bit rolling under light throttle then it smoothes out and runs good, now it starts and idles good, had a spare MAF so i tried it, didnt help. whats the other sensor on top of the therm housing?
  9. grind in the housing or the carrier or? also i dont have limited slip
  10. is it a different carrier for 3.7 and 3.9 in the rear diffs?

  12. Vanislru you mean track width not wheel base right? the Isuzu rims i got have more B/S but i havent measured them, you have any rub issues with the 3"? is theere room for more B/S? like 3.5-4"? have to get off puter might get shot or booted out of house
  13. ya gotta work but you wanna use the hoist? or u usin the hiab truck? or can the 2 of us lift it out? swing by in the AM
  14. could you adapt larger injectors? sure it would use more fuel at idle but wouldnt starve @ WOT and might not need to modify engine management, or maybe modify the FPRegs vacc signal
  15. i got the 91 front end yanked far enough out to get the rad out from around the engine today and removed the other fender and hood
  16. thanks Turbone! TROGDOR, i have 2 cars an 85 turbo wagon and a 91 Loyale spfi was thinking of adding a turbo to the spfi, as i have spare turbo parts
  17. so who has the spfi and turbo set up and what type of engine management are they using wesley im on Quadra Island
  18. i wdill re drill the hubs then if i ever want to chenge rims it is another 6 bolt 15" rim or tap in the original studs in factory spots
  19. anyone running these rims 15x6 w/ 235/75r15s?
  20. clean and check the seal at the camshaft housings, it is just silicone , there is an o ring that seals the oil pressure gallery there also, if unsure get a subi enthusast in the neighborhood to check it or get a second opinion, if i were closer id check it for ya but imNear Campbell River
  21. still want to know how much, i ordered today,ea82 4" kit, he gave me a good price but if the xmas prices are less id like to know, will you be posting them up? thanks

  23. ya but how long did it take to get either kit after ordering? a week, a month? 6 months?
