  1. he-he. No, I haven't tryed that yet. I also wasn't sure if it had anything to do with my EJ22 swap. As soon as I get the car back from wiring I'll try all of that stuff. I just thought it was weird that we pushed it up on the tow dolly just fine, but when we started pulling it the back wheels locked up. I ended up just pulling the drive line to make it roll. Thanks for the help, and I try to jack one rear wheel off when I get it back.
  2. Yes, they are all the same size.
  3. Yes, the car shifts in and out of gears. I'll try that.
  4. No one else has ever had this problem? I guess once I get the car running I'll mess around with it but it's the strangest thing. Maybe once it gets driving it'll pop back out.
  5. My ea82 transmission is stuck in 4wd and when I have it in neutral up on my tow dolly the back wheels are stuck. It's acting like it's in gear but it's not, and I can't get the damn thing out of 4wd. Any idea why this might be happening?
  6. I don't have the car all wired up yet, so I can't turn it on. (ej swap in progress)
  7. I know I saw a thread on here a long time ago showing how to wirer up the EA82 Transmission to an EA81 car. If anyone knows what wire to hook up to what or a link to that old tread please let me know. thanks,
  8. I remember someone else getting stuck at the last WCSS and I had to pull them out. I wonder who that could be? (I did get a beer out of it)
  9. I don't know if you have enough room for another shirt/decal design but I've fixed up my logo idea. If not would it be okay if I ran a batch of shirts and decals with my design on them to sold at the show?
  10. The video is cool, but the camera work sucks big time.
  11. I recently did a 5 speed swap into my 1982 hatch and I'm almost finised with the installation but I can't seem to get the ball part of the stick shift to stay in place. I tryed to hammer it down into the plastic part sitting at the bottom of the rubber boot. It was so long ago when I pulled everything apart I can't remember how the heck it came out:-\.
  12. Cool, let me know (the sooner the better, I really want to get this thing running and out of here).
  13. any luck with those lines for the turbo yet?
  14. My personal experience with the EA turbo motors is that they're garbage and everything starts to fall apart on them after 100,000 miles. If I were you I'd go with the SPFI EA82. Hands down the best running and most reliable motor I've ever had. All though my EJ22 swap isn't finished yet so we'll see. I used jerry's kit on my 82 hatch and the thing kicks butt. It worked great and everything just bolted right in. If you're going to do the swap get a hold of Jerry. I think his USMB name isbratsrus1.
  15. oh man, I just gave away my old turbo 2 nights ago. Let me know if you can find or put together a turbo with all the lines or if you know where I can find lines. I think I'm going to bag the ej turbo idea. It sounds like more trouble than I'm willing to deal with right now. Thanks for all the info though.
  16. any word on that turbo?
  17. that would be great!
  18. YES! Very Interested. If you have one in good working order I'm all over it.
  19. It's an older legacy turbo. (thanks for moving my thread into the right spot)
  20. I'm having a problem located an ea turbo for my loyal, but I do have someone who has an early ej turbo available. How easy is it for me to make it fit on my motor?
  21. No rally X? That sucks, that was the best part about the last one. Oh well, I'm still going.
