Rust repair. Ended up just yanking the fender and having the whole thing repainted by a friend who owns a body shop.

yup and i still dont have a fender on my car yet Tomorrow at 12 it goes on then hitting the road soon after.

You CAN find them but they are a bit harder to come by than the average rim. And when you do find a set be ready to pay for them. They aint cheap, even these ones i got a deal on and still were not cheap. Just to give you an idea i looked for 2 years till these ones poped up.

Yea ive been wanting them on and off for the past couple of years. Then when i saw them on this cars twin out on Portland i NEEDED them. And thanks to everyones comments about my car. Looks cleaner in the photos than it really is.

They were pretty much like that out of the box. I lightly cleaned them (as in took 5 minutes for 4 wheels kinda clean).

nope nothing NOS about my center caps. They suck actually. Eventually ill look for a nicer set but for now they will work.

Well since everyone else is posting there new rims i figured i should as well. Just put these on yesterday. Got a pretty good deal on them from that car in Portland that is the twin to this one. Here they are

Just take your time and go easy Tim. Whatever you take off put in order on the table in front of you. If something goes together a certain way, lay it out in that order on the table. When it comes time to put it back together dont over due anything. The carb is only aluminum so you CAN strip stuff out if you overtighten. And lastly...leftover rebuild parts are a no no lol. Good luck. If i lived closer i would give you a hand.

All rims are present and accounted for :banana:. I should be there around 4 or 5 probably friday afternoon/night. GF might back out cause of her nursing exam or something like that..grr. Ive only been warning her about the show for the past month. Oh well my buddy joe will def be coming.

I know what you mean. You need about 2 or 3 feet of bent pipe in front of the muffler as well as a new muffler. I was in your exact situation. What i did was buy a Dynomax Superturbo muffler for about 50 bucks and have an exhaust shop such as monro or midus custom install it for you. It didnt cost me all that much to have them do mine. If i remember right it was about 40 bucks. That was cheaper than factory for me cause the cheapest i could find at the time was 200 something.
