About 4 months ago my passenger side caliper was seizing on me. One of the pistons would lock up and not move. It tore up the rotor bad. If I have to replace one side I have to replace the other, thats how I always was and always will be. Brand new or not, I wont have to worry about it in the near future. I went out and got 2 refurbished calipers from a Subaru dealer. I also got 2 new front rotors by Power Slot and Carbotech Bobcat brake pads for the front and back. While I was doing the brakes I figured I get the Goodridge S/S brake lines. I still need to put on the rear lines, but my brakes work 10 times better.

Does anyone know the offset and bolt pattern on a 97 Legacy??? And I'm think on getting rims that are 8 inches wide for the front, and 9 inches wide on the back. Is this good or it wont work??? Let me know how wide of a rim I can get with out any rubbing. Oh and I'm getting 18 inch rims if you need to know. Please any info will help. I want to get thses SOON!!!!!!!!

Well when I was having a over heating problem, I was hoping that it wasnt my head gaskets. So we tried replacing the thermostat, flushed out the radiator. Then I thought it might be the water pump, so i got the water pump out, and it wasnt bad but it didnt spin as easy as the new pump I got. Maybe the bearing where going, this was at 70,000 miles. Im the type that will replacing anything old for something new on my cars, always had. Dealerships suck, they tell you things you dont need to know, and they dont tell you what you want to know. It should have been replaced, but they look at it that you have to come back and spend some more money to take the front end of the engine apart, thats my opinion. Well good luck with your car, oh yea, it was my head gasket

There is a company called Gold-Line. They make adjustable camber bolts that adjust from 1.5-2.0 degrees. Now is that for only the back? or is it for the front too? I dont want inside tire wear. For now the car is a daily driver. So after I lower it, what can I do for a balance wear on the tires? -

The springs lower the car 1.25" in the front and 1.0" in the rear. Are you telling me that I should get adjustable strut mounts? I know Cusco has some, but they are pricey. -

I have KYB-GR2 struts and H&R springs, Im ordering STi strut top mounts. I will also install a Cusco front and rear strut braces. So if I dont go too big with the sway bars I should have a stiffer ride, but not tto much to alter the steering? -

So what I can understand is, that I just need to find out what i think feels best with my car? I just what to stiffen the car for quick sharp turns and high speed long turns. -
Unless you plan on going to Japan or you know someone there http://www.takakaira.co.jp/ would be your best bet. I going to be ordering some body parts from them soon. You also can get the twin headlight conversion at http://www.boxer4racing.com thats teagues auto. That place kicks rump roast Dale Teague has been real helpful with me, and thats where I order all my parts for my 97 Legacy GT Sedan. If you find any other sites with body parts let me know. Good luck

I want my engine with 75000 miles on it, in the new car, that engine has 130000 thats a lil too many for me. Besides I have alot of money into my engine, I had to replace the head gaskets on it, it has brand new water pump, thermostat, and timing belt. I use a synthetic blend and I know this engine. This other 1 has 130,000 miles on it, only god knows how he beated on it. -
