  1. I'd be interested in a skid plate also, but I need a new front bumper to bolt it too;)
  2. I was out there filming it, (one of the many in green media vests). Covered Thursday - Sunday shot in 1080i HD. Definatly some great driving out there! Satuday, Oregon weather at its finest. My soob at SS9 intersection.
  3. Hope it all goes back together allright. D/R is nice:clap:
  4. He made it. Do a search for the AA thread. It should talk all about the goodies Albie makes for soobies... or go to their website. the thing is beefy!
  5. The fenders were all cut away, it was the wheel well that the tires would hit upon compression. More lift or a smaller tire size would have prevented that.
  6. Albie's Outback at the Mud Run
  7. Pics of the Mud Run can be seen here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=71762 So yes there was one toasted rear end, and one broken front axel. From watching it all happen, then going back and reviewing the footage, it looks like the breaks were from the tires hitting the wheel wells at high rpm. Resulting in a sudden stop of the tire... breaking a diff and an axel. Having that power was great for the mud, allowed enough umph to get up the hills. Just need to make more room for that tire size on the rig (with more lift and trimming). Otherwise Albie went everywhere in that rig. I know that this gave him a chance to test it out and an idea of what needs to be modified to the rig for next time. Hope to get more subies out there next time too!
  8. Here are some pics from the video I took... Enjoy!
  9. Well it was wet and muddy! I will get some pics up later on today.
  10. thats what she said...
  11. Zap too bad you can't make it. Understand it is a bit of a drive. I really want to see the yota in action. I'm sure there will be another meet soon.
  12. Hope to see some USMB representation out there tomorrow. PM me if anyone has any questions or wants to meet up. I'll have my lifted red Loyale there, filming though. We will probably be the only group of Soobs out there so just listen for the sweet purrr of a soob and you'll see us.
  13. :::Update::: All St. Helens Mud Run info is now posted in the appropriate forum at this link: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=71762 See you all out there tomorrow!
  14. A group of us including the rig in this post will be meeting and leaving from Allied Armament's shop at this address: 55948 Columbia River Hwy, Scappoose, OR 97056 at 8:00am this Saturday. I can't remember the exact directions to the Mud Run so meet us there by 8 and you can follow us in. Just put the address in Google maps or whatever to find the shop. From HWY 30 look for a sign that reads: Malarkey Ranch Inn Bed & Breakfast on the North side of the hwy. PM me for any details, questions, etc...
  15. Here are a couple of the AA legacys that have been beefed up. Off of their website: http://alliedarmament.homestead.com/Bumper.html There is the red outback and a gen 1 blue legacy both lifted.
  16. I'd join up with you guys for some easy stuff that the daily driver can handle. Send me a PM when you are thinking about going out.
  17. James your pm's are full, I can't send you anything! I will try giving you a ring this Monday. -Chris
