  1. Who is in charge of WCSS 12? I have an idea for this years logo.
  2. Would you buy a cord of wood form this guy? Edit: You know, it is easy to make comments about this picture, I think it is funny too. But you have to give the guy credit, he certainly is getting the job done with the tools on hand, good for him. I kind of like the open roof idea, if you could get a waterproof cover made like the old VW ragtops. Notice the wagon is pretty straight with exception of hole in roof and busted shocks. I could use that front bumper.
  3. I will work through some of these suggestions and report back. Thanks.
  4. inspected and cleaned IAC solenoid; can't find a vacuum leak. Would a bad O2 sensor explain this?
  5. Idle sits at 2,000 RPMs, cold or warm. Runs great otherwise. Any suggestions? Thanks
  6. Looks like a good place to sleep while camping.
  7. Gloyale: Were those Good year hoses? Where is th eoriginal post? Jibs: Thanks for the help, this was the post I was looking for.
  8. I KNOW that I saw a post recently where somebody used flexible radiator hoses for their swap. Had pics, parts #'s and everything. I cannot find the post, anyone know where it is? yes I did a search thanks.
  9. I think you answered your own ? in your post. Want lights on the roof, then either a light bar or drill into the roof. Personally, I think drilling into the roof is a terrible idea, but to each his own.
  10. That's what I thought NC. When I was restoring my boat (1959 Skagit) I grounded the gauges to be sure that they were working. Back to the drawing board.
  11. So I piped an EA81/82 OPsender into where the EJ22 OPsender goes. OP gauge shot up to 75 and stayed. I don't trust it because the gauge will shoot to 75 if I add 12v w/out the sender. Thoughts?
  12. Coming down from Mt. Hood this afternoon and I spotted 5 Ea-81's heading East, within 10 mins. 2 Brats 2 Hatches 1 Wagon Have never seen that many EA81's outside a meet!
  13. I am almost certain that driving with your added lights on the road will get you a ticket. That is why most lights come with covers, so the cops can see that you are not running them.
  14. Looks like I am out. On my way to Buffalo, NY for family matter. They have 3' of snow and I will be w/out a Subaru:mad: Will shoot for next time.
  15. Hey R4C, I sent you a PM about your front A bars. BTW, why do you have so many parts, are you a parts yard?

  16. Not sure why I thought you were talking about OP when is clearly says temp:confused:
  17. You need to find the 5 speed Dual range transmission from 1985-1990 GL, GL10, Loyale.
  18. As suggested by ShawnW; I haven't tried it yet. ShawnW Administrator Join Date: May 1998 City: Westminster, Colorado Age: 32 Posts: 11,301 Re: Last EA81/EJ22 swap question (I hope) I suggest taking the ea81 sending unit out of the old motor, get a few adapter pieces and a braided stainless steel brake line and adapt the sender in to the location on the ej22 block where the dummy light sender is. The last one I did this way the sender laid up above the block by the alternator.
  19. I may be in; this will be the debut of my lifted/ej'd wagon. Haven't met any of you, except for CF.
  20. Helllllloooooo Ooouuutttttt theeeerrrrrreeeee. No one?
  21. Ok, we are swapped and running! Only thing left is to get oil pressure gauge working. I know there is the theoretical way that numbchux wrote in his write up, but has anyone actually done it? or figured out another way to get OP gauge to work? I think there is a perrin oil filter adapter that would work, but costs $70 or so. Thanks.
