  1. CF, I think we can look at this in another light and use it in favor of opening ORV parks. If there were ORV areas in the MT.HOOD forest, then maybe these clowns would not be tearing up replanted areas. Point being is that there is a need for these areas close to Portland/Vancouver and until there is a sanctioned area there will always be people looking to wheel in an off limits area.
  2. Found this in an old post. mudrat79 Banned Join Date: Aug 2003 City: Eugene, Age: 37 Posts: 697 Too different.... I attempted to stick a set of Hatch split seats in a wagon, and width is different, plus bracketry and where it all has to mount is way different and in wrong locations......due to hatch and wagon having different seat elevation to start with....... Sorry Dante..... Later, John in Eugene.....
  3. Anyone have a spare set of rear hatch seats in the Portland, OR area?
  4. Is this possible? Would like to have split rear seat to carry another person up the ski mountain. Anyone ever try this?
  5. Mr DirtyWagon, I believe you might have voided your Subaru warranty:eek:
  6. Props to guy who isn't afraid to tear into his $30,000 rig....It is yours, right? Impressive build, bring it up to WCSS 11.
  7. Hey Poop, I'll take a L if you have one left. I can pickup and pay cash. BTW, will yo be making GEN 2 mudflap stickers? If you make a shirt with a lifted EA 81 on it, I'm in for a L.
  8. I thought you got banned! We want photo/video
  9. Would this be in lieu of or in addition to WCSS 11? As far as an old school meet, I would be game as I have little interest in the WRX scene. However, I do enjoy getting together with the larger Subaru community at the WCSS.
  10. Is there any information on WCSS 11 yet? I know it is way early, but need to plan vacation time and such.
  11. :eek:How much do they charge to bog? Their website indicates that membership is $30/month:eek:
  12. I own 3 subarus: 92 SVX 99 Legacy GT Limited 81 GL Wagon; Lifted, EJ Swap, rusty/dented I use THE CLUB on the GL because I think it would be the first one someone would steal.
  13. How hard would it be to make this a 4WD GF? I gather it would need a Dual speed transmission, rear diff, a diff hanger, 2 rear CV axles and a custom drive line. This would make the coolest vintage rally car.
  14. I am thinking about going to coilovers in the rear. Can somebody post a few pics of their setup? Thanks
  15. 28" SUPER SWAMPERS 28X8,14-LT Found these for sale; going to see them tomorrow AM. Will these fit the pug rim without any problem?
  16. Hey Noah, It was nice to meet You & Austin at the show. Glad to meet everyone who had a hand in building the water wagon. I would be interested in hiring you to help me sort out the EJ wiring. So far it has been reliable as is, but I feel as though it may be hazardous. Let me know what you think. Getting one of Aaron's oldies is kick rump roast! Robert
  17. Noah, your PM box is full. Anyway, will you be doing any wiring harnesses at WCSS10? Would you be willing to wrestle with the wiring nest in the water wagon? Let me know. Thanks, Robert
  18. Are you making this street legal again?
  19. I had always stored mine as recommended, never had a problem with excess weight. I used to take roadtrips to San Francisco and there is nothing cooler than crossing over the Golden Gate bridge in the middle of the night with the tops out and the heat cranked up. Good Times:banana:
  20. Looks like a Hatch Patrol get together
  21. One picture has a bumper guard, the other does not. Do you know why it doesn't run? If it is repairable, then MAYBE it is worth the price. If the motor is toast, offer him $600-$750. I like the Yellow Brat.
  22. Available on Ebay for $50, complete set of TA decals, I'll donate $5 if you decide to do it. East Bound and down.............................
  23. I think you should name your car BANDIT, because you made out like one....And Burt Reynolds agrees!
  24. There is a guy that lives on Fickle Hill named Rob who is a very good EA Subaru mechanic; I've always known him as Subaru Rob. He used to play in a band called the Fickle Hillbillies if you ever see them around, ask for Rob. Good luck with your new/old car.
