My '79 wagon update pics (just like everyone else ;) )
Ya thats a nice one for sure. I sure wish I had it. It would have stayed stock and would be driven on road only. To me that is borderline abuse for a car in that condition. I guess I am in the minority though. BTW, who did the lousy re-make of war pigs?

93 Legacy fuel leak
gen1lover replied to gen1lover's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI am aware of the access cover and you are correct, it is at the right front corner of the trunk. I had to replace the fuel pump and after that the hose started leaking. I was wondering about the routing of the hose.

93 Legacy fuel leak
I have a 93 Legacy sedan FWD and the fuel feed hose from the fuel pump is split and spraying fuel. Has anybody had this problem? I am wondering if the tank will need to be dropped to replace this line and if so how involved is it to drop the tank? This is FWD not AWD. Thanks

EJ22 thermostat help
I read on here about using an OEM thermostat so I bought one and when I went to put it in the car had an aftermarket one in already. My question is where should the little bleeder be positioned?

That 1975 1400 wagon from a few months ago.... (kind of a rant)
I had the deal all worked out but when I went to get it I saw the rockers and drivers floor were rusted out:banghead: . I left it there because I don't have the money or the welding knowledge to repair it. I would bet it is still there complete. They had had it for a year and it was still complete so I would bet a few months hasn't made a difference. They had the title also.

93 Legacy Ignition Switch
gen1lover replied to gen1lover's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThe switch is hanging up even with the lock cyl removed so I was going to use the one out of a parts car I have. No electrical issues.

93 Legacy Ignition Switch
Has anybody had to replace the ignition switch on a Legacy? It looks like the head on the screws breaks off when installed at the factory. There does not appear to be enough room to drill them out. If anyone knows the procedure to remove the switch from the column it would really help a lot. Thanks!

93 Legacy questions
gen1lover replied to gen1lover's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo the TCU controls the AWD solenoids? By wiring do you mean extra pins in the connectors? Sorry for all the questions:drunk:

93 Legacy questions
I have acquired two 93 Legacy sedans. I am going to make one good one out of the two. The one with the good body needs an engine (crankshaft pulley issue) and is not an AWD. The donor car is an AWD. I am thinking of converting the FWD to AWD. My question is what controls the AWD system? I read about Legacy777's conversion and didn't see anything about a computer or anything. Would I also need the engine control module and the trans control module from the AWD car? They are both auto trans.
