September 24, 200916 yr 85 gl wagon My blower motor doesnt run at all. Checked the plug going into blower motor and no voltage. Took instrument bezel trim off to check the actual switch. But im not sure what to check to see if its working correctly. And What are those little fuse looking things with round ends? theres one white one, one blackish one, and one is empty. Thanks, Wes
September 24, 200916 yr Have you actually checked to see if the blower motor works? If there is 12 volts at high speed to the motor and it doesnt spin, its the motor. get out the old volt meter and start going backwards from the blower motor. nipper
September 24, 200916 yr Author Have you checked the fuses? Do you have power at the blower fuse? GD Are there any more fuses besides the one in fusebox?
September 25, 200916 yr Not as such - but have you verified that you have 12v to the blower fuse? You can work either way as Gary points out - but I prefer to work forward from the point that I have voltage and then see where I lose it - but both methods are useful at times. GD
September 25, 200916 yr Author I have discovered the problem to be the blower motor relay, i had to have them order it, in the meantime i need to check the motor. Can i just run a hot wire off the cigarette light and touch it to where the plug went into the motor, and if the motor is good, it should spin right? Thanks, Wes
