February 11, 200422 yr uhh, can you say a freaking rip off. all you do is get a standard oil plug, and drill a whole in the middle, then insert a magnet, or just apoxy one to the top of the plug, screw taht, waht a waste of cash.
February 11, 200422 yr uhhh guys... its only $20 shipped to your door. Not as cheap as a normal one... but it has a freakin magnet in it! Also, I wouldn't trust hand making one of these... i'd just love to have that magnet come off and find a way somewhere it shouldn't be.

February 11, 200422 yr Perhaps if your PM box wasn't full I would have replied in a timely manner. Anyways... Andy had car trouble that weekend... so I ended up getting no parts.

Not as cheap as a normal one... but it has a freakin magnet in it! not to go off-thread here, but that's the spirit of what i love about this board and interest: it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy in! this board has a pride in diy, and keeping things inexpensive and reasonable, which I really appreciate. old subes are a hobby, an interest, an activity, and a passion that you don't have to spend a lot on, and i even think that it could be considered bad form if you did. btw, epoxy should hold against the heat. my brother epoxied the coolant overflow pipe back to the filler neck. it held against the heat, but was never pressure proof (different issue).
