hi all, being a new soob owner i'm confused by all the terms and lingo used on the forums. I have an 86gl sedan with a 1.8 engine and auto trans. I know it sounds stupid but what are the terms that go to my soob (ea82, etc) this way i can know what to look for in the forums. thanks for your tutoring:confused:

It's an EA82 engine, 3AT transmission. Probably carbed.

Pretty much anything you find for a (1985-'94) GL, DL, RX, or Loyale will work for you. Only changes would be Turbo, Carb, SPFI, and a 5spd with or without Duel-Range.

 

You also have a 3.9 Gear ratio.
