December 21, 201015 yr just wondering if anyone has seen an 81/82 with shaved door handles, bumpers, maybe the trim removed, something euro inspired?
December 21, 201015 yr I was in the process of shaving everything on my gen 1 Brat but all I had a pic of was the fenders after I filled in my side markers. I left the door handles but got rid of the trim mirrors and side marker lights.
December 21, 201015 yr I have been considering the same on the 86 I working on..brother wants me to Lamborghini the doors too
December 21, 201015 yr Author if i could make my wagon as clean as this one (and it doesnt even have anything shaved) id be the happiest guy around. its a toyota so bare with me...but the execution is fantastic.
December 22, 201015 yr Author heres a link if you want more info...the tires are 225/45-16 which im impressed by. Imagine this style of car only a subaru wagon, awd with ej22 swap...yummm
December 24, 201015 yr again... no shaved body parts. but this is my wagon. i like to think it is prety clean looking. Not to mention full STi Drivetrain with 306AWHP and 335AWTQ... Sitting on 205/40R17's more info and pics at www.suberdave.com Edited December 24, 201015 yr by suberdave

December 25, 201015 yr Author wow...nicest brat i think ive seen. Got a question for ya...what does the ea81 cars look like with no front bumper? ive seen some vw rabbits and datsuns with no front bumper and they look pretty good, mainly because the sheet metal behind the bumper isnt to bad.

Pretty sure you could pull it off reasonably quick if you wanted to check it out, and if you weren't a huge fan it wouldn't take much to reinstall it.
December 25, 201015 yr Pretty sure you could pull it off reasonably quick if you wanted to check it out, and if you weren't a huge fan it wouldn't take much to reinstall it. Yeah. They come off pretty easily. Buy they look like crap with no bumper. Lol
December 26, 201015 yr Agreed, It's only about 6 bolts if I do remember. But thet do look really bad, there is a ton of holes and they are fairly large ones at that. In my opinion, you are better off making a slim sleak type of bumper or leaving the stock one on it. Thanks for the compliment also
December 26, 201015 yr Author im thinkin of a custom roll pan in the rear, and either a roll pan style piece of sheet metal in the front (similiar to how the VW mk1 rabbits look with no bumper) or a small simple smooth bumper from another car.
December 27, 201015 yr They is what all my friends called the brat in high school. So it has always stuck with it. Figured I would keep it interesting and the tradition rolling...
