removing carbon buildup

Featured Replies

what you anyone recommend i use to get the carbon buildup off my intake valves? there's a ton of it on the intake valves on both heads.

If its in the car, use a small vacuum line to suck in some seafoam, slowly, should take between 8-15 minutes to suck in the whole bottle.

Out of the car, soak em in carb cleaner and use an aluminum or brass brush.

BG44k fuel system and top end cleaner. Pricy, but works like a charm.

I use a brass wire wheel in a drill chuck to clean the cc's and valves when the heads are on the bench.
