August 12, 201114 yr Just got back from grocery store... picked up some potato salad.. rolls... and stuff.... Will be in the kitchen making up the burgers ( bacon jalapeno ones.. and then also the "usual" ones i do) also got some hot dogs..and Tommy made some homemade salsa from our garden. Will also have broccoli salad and cornbread. We have Coke... and I will make some iced tea.. if anyone drinks something else can you bring some along??

That way people can bring their favorite beverage. We are planning on making the chicken tonight. Do you need plates, forks, napkins, etc.? I am going to the store tonight to pick up stuff. Unfortunately I don't have time to bake anything :-\ I had a late meeting last night and won't have time tonight. Sorry!

I have the Broccoli salad, cornbread, homemade salsa, and the bacon cheddar jalapeno burgers made.. need to do the regular ones yet and fry up some extra bacon. OH Jess!!! August 12, 201114 yr I got potato chips already (3 grocery stores later) and I will be buying the corn on the way home today. Should I cut down the amt. of corn I was going to buy? I was going to get 2 dz and then I thought maybe 1.5 dz might be more realistic but now???? opinions?

August 16, 201114 yr John and I had so much fun like always. Super good food, thank you Connie for cooking. I hope everybody made it home alright, we had an interesting ride home. There is a small electrical problem in the fuse box and lost all of our lights twice. We made it home okay though. So when is the next cookout?

August 18, 201114 yr Wow Jess and John...glad you made it home alright as well. Lindsay and i had a great time as well. Im happy LB is up and running well and that my coupes trans is in a good home. I knew it would find a home soon.
