December 22, 201114 yr Go to http://www.uship.com, post up the weight and size, and shippers will bid war for your business. I shipped my CBR, loading ramps, gear, wheels, and tools from Texas to Oregon for $500, when I had gotten quoted $1200 from anywhere else.
December 22, 201114 yr call the trucking companies, they'll quote you better than UPS. but even then you'll be quoted a walk in price which will be higher than a commercial account that ship stuff.
December 22, 201114 yr Short or long block? I didn't pay so don't know the cost but used a double-walled box and lots of bubble wrap to ship a short block to FL. TD
December 22, 201114 yr Author its a long block and intake ive shipped before, but customwer always handled shipping
December 23, 201114 yr Try Saia motor freight. I have had transmissions shipped by them without any problems and the prices are pretty good.
