January 27, 201313 yr hopefully yall will be a lot of help for me. this is my first car i dont know how to work on cars but i would like to learn thank god i have my brother. My brother tells me the whole car needs to be rewired and then well go from there. I will eventually get it lifted and do an ej swap paid $800 more than i should have but hopefully it will be worth it. oh and i got the guy to throw in some chrome rims dont even know why anyone would get them but hopefully theyll look cool.
January 27, 201313 yr Looks like a nice straight body! You found a good one, what is wrong with the wiring? Maybe it is something simple. Also, a belated welcome to the board. Lots of good info on here, make use of the search button. Do those chrome wheels have a little "J" emblem on one of the spokes? If they do they are Jackmans and are a desireable wheel by the oldschool subaru crowd. Edited January 27, 201313 yr by 6 Star
January 27, 201313 yr Author yeah theres definitely not a j what would regular chrome rims like this be worth anyway.
January 27, 201313 yr Depends on who is buying and how much they want to spend. I would say swap them onto your Brat, they would look good on there imo.
January 28, 201313 yr I talked to the guy who owned these brats, you definitely bought the better one. I cant imagine the whole car would have to be rewired either Edited January 28, 201313 yr by BratRod
January 28, 201313 yr Very nice looking brat. I would keep it all original but thats just me!!! I think in the long run it would be worth more to a future buyer, especially that its in really nice shape, to keep it stock and as original as possible. Nice brat either way and I even like the color, its like a light olive green I think???
January 28, 201313 yr Author you were the guy thanks a lot and im oing to change a lot of the car because ima have it for many years

February 14, 201313 yr Author is there specifics on what you need from the fsm cause it would take forever for me to scan the whole thing
February 14, 201313 yr is there specifics on what you need from the fsm cause it would take forever for me to scan the whole thing Well, the whole things, yes. But I don't expect you or anyone to do that. I keep looking and I miss out on them it seems?
February 20, 201313 yr Author so we figured out why it was getting no spark and its because there is no resistor so we decided to let the car sit until i get enough money to swap the engine so anybody wana buy an ea71 as is in houston??
February 20, 201313 yr Author No that would be retarded i wanted to swap it anyway and if it wouldve been easy getting this motor running i wouldve but its gonna cost me more than i want to pay so why not just swap and put money into something i want
February 20, 201313 yr Author is there a significant difference in power between the ej22 and ej25 my brother wants me to cheap out and go for the ej22 but i was a little skeptical seeing how icould wait and get the ej25 but if its not too big of a difference then ill just go for the ej22
