Hi, can the headlights from a BH Outback be pulled apart and the clear lenses be replaced?

They can be polished out.  Shops do this for about $100.  The lenses are glued to the back shell so while it's possible I doubt you'd get it done.

can you clean them like he just said?   i've done it a few times and it works great.

You can usually get head lights apart by baking them at low temp for 5-10 minutes to soften the glue.  Its a tedious and messy process that I've done a few times for various reasons, usually to paint some of the inner housing for honda kids lol.

Mequiars, 3M, other kits available to polish them out. Check Amazon for ratings of kits, check Youtube for demos.

 

most folks who bake them for removal, are doing mods/dress-up stuff like; HID projector installs, 'angel eyes', painting the chrome, etc.

I am aware they can be polished. But I have some with the black outlines and round indicators which look better except the lens is cracked. Mine need polishing but aren't cracked...
