Question is what glue to use?

or make a custom intake tube? any suggestions or mock up pics are greatly appreciated.

As far as glue idk, custom intake? I wouldn't bother.

 

Assuming there isn't now a giant hole in your intake that is.

I found mine in the spare tire space. lol Liquid nails might work.

hi,

  those inserts have tabs that hold them in place in the intake top,,  if those are broken or  not on it  then follow the other advice.

the rubber plenum has a rubber lip around it that the metal piece slips under. take your time with something thin and flat. they are a separate piece and made of metal for a reason: its structural...keeps the rubber intake from sucking in under heavy loads
