Gas neck filler tube rusted out.

Featured Replies

So I've been looking around and haven't been able to find a replacement for the gas filler tube. Mine has a bad rust hole right above the clamp and leaks like a sive. Anyone know other cars that will fit or where to buy a new oem tube?

I have the same issue. My plan is some gas tank repair stuff then wraped with self fuseing silicon tape. Like ER or wrapit. Until i can find a replacemnt

yeh I was thinking the same. right now im using a garden hose attached to a funnel. it works but is very annoying to use

I had one a few months ago but I scrapped it. Crushed the tank with a backhoe outrigger and took the whole mess in. Should have saved everythign from the car but I figured there were certain things I'd never use. Maybe call a yard out in washington or oregon or california and see if the will ship you one?

How about grabbing one from a newer subaru at the pick and pull and making it work? I would think something from another car could be adapted to work as long as it has the same diameter as the hose connection to the tank.

Text me if you still have my number. I know a junkyard about an hour north that has two ea82 wagons. he might have a replacement

I know with EA81 )yours is EA82? ) there is two filler necks across the whole range - one with the unleaded restrictor, one without the unleaded restrictor.

If you have EA82 may be lucky in that all models use one filler neck offers better chance - put up a want ad in appropriate section maybe ? And state what model you have maybe :)
