Just bought A '97 legacy with 110,000 miles as a replacement for my '95 ob w/269k. Just noticed I have some pretty major rust on the rockers. Started looking for replacement parts and can't find anything. Any ideas or links? Im a welder so thats no problem and have replaced many panels over the years, its a same because the rest of the car is in. Great shape. It has undercoating and rusted from the inside out. Any thoughts apprec. Thanks..

There are several layers of metal in those.  I cut some out for another member.  2 trips to the yard with a Dewalt and 3 extra batteries.

i have a decent parts car up here in Pa. i can cut them out for you and meet up somewhere if you don't have any luck finding them nearer to you

Don't think any new rockers are available in the aftermarket. Just not enough demand for a company to produce them. Used parts is going to be your only option.

If thats the case, I guess I can cut the ones out of the '95. I did find some brand new ones outer skins 120 per side on a subaru site.

Rusty what site did you find the skins on I'm also looking mine got crushed by a jack a few weeks ago been looking ever since
