January 8, 201511 yr Hey everyone, I'm Dan Kindred in Washington state. Just found this sight and it's already helped me big time. I just bought an 81 Brat for 600 bucks. It was taken care of pretty dang well, everything dent free except for the drivers side fender. Bought it from my friend who bought from someone. the owner said it has a blown head gasket, I was there when my buddy drove it up on the trailer... the owner cried a little. anyways, my friend had a kid and never got around to fixing it. sold it to me after sitting in the garage for 3 years. and now... AT LAST I"M A BRAT OWNER!
