March 30, 201511 yr curious what schedule the wheel bearings have to be repacked on/adjusted or is this even something that can be done on a subaru? or are they run until they go bad and replaced? doing searches brings up lots of threads for replacement but i am not finding any on repacking/maintenance

March 30, 201511 yr Depends on year, my '03 outback has press-in fronts and bolt-in rear wheel bearings. Fronts a real pain, rears not too bad.

April 1, 201510 yr Author interesting on the wrx, i will ask the subiworx when i have it in the shop next week about that on this year and model
