wagon trailers

Featured Replies

Hasn't someone converted an ea82 wagon into a towable camper type trailer?

My searches have found nothing.

Anyone have pics?

I've only ever seen one. It's much easier to do to a pickup bed. But then, our pickups are slightly smaller than yours :P

Depends where you're going to cut the car on how difficult. Best bet is at the B pillar so you can leave the rear doors intact.

Make sure that you weld any draw bar directly to the rear suspension subframe though, and not just to the body. You'll be removing part of the body's structural integrity & need to compensate by transferring the load better, especially as there's no chassis rails under the rear part of the wagon.

Seems to me like it would be excessively heavy.

I've seen them at WCSS... probably 10 years ago, I'm just looking for pics

It seems like WCSS used to be cooler, especially when that guy had his lifted xt on like 32s

I believe the XT6 guy was named Eric or Ken, he was from Eugene.

I think the video is MIA due to forum transitions and I posted it before google bought youtube...that long ago.
