January 19, 201610 yr The last time I needed a radiator, it was near impossible to find a turbo 2 row. It's looking like I need to settle for a single row, as I don't have time for a project right now. I am not looking for a cheap one, I'm looking for a good one. I've always bough brass and copper ones, but it looks like the aluminum ones last a lot longer these days. Anyone have the name of a good source / part number?
January 19, 201610 yr I don't know of any dual core new available. I've looked hard. I came to the conclusion If I want one, to use two single core and have a radiator shop turn them into a dual core. Having a set of dual core radiator tanks would be a huge advantage.
January 19, 201610 yr Author I do have a couple of dual row radiators saved for rebuilding. I was thinking of getting a single to use while I search out someone or the parts to do the rebuild.

January 20, 201610 yr Try these guys https://www.radiatorexpress.com/product.asp?part=1989+SUBARU+GL-10++-+1%2E8+liter+H4+RADIATOR+TURBO+REPLACEMENT+W%2F+STRAIGHT+OUTLET&part_id=40020&aaia_id=1268748 I have this exact radiator in my shop right now... Still new but 2 years old. The picture was different when I bought it though. It is not a direct fit. The inlet and outlet would work. Fill hole would be under your core support. Fan shroud holes are wrong. It would work if you wanted to fab it in. And if anyone wants mine they can have it for way less than that sight wants. Plus shipping if needed! January 23, 201610 yr I have this exact radiator in my shop right now... I am interested in buying it. PM me info, go from there. I've been on the hunt for a while. Bought a Spectra but turned out not to be the one advertised (via Amazon) so returned it. I also need a water pump if anyone has one.
January 23, 201610 yr There are some after market dual core radiators that the mfr says fit, but they don't work right. The reason is that the hole for the thermoswitch on the right side, was not properly constructed so that there is not enough thread to hold the thermoswitch. That thermoswitch tells the auxiliary fan when to turn on. Radiator specialist shops carry the dual core. Take along your thermoswitch to make sure that it will hold it and maintain a seal.
