Cam tower seal part #

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble finding the gasket/seal for the camshaft tower.  Would anyone have a part # handy?

I was able to find a lot of the parts I need using this as reference:

Most of the seals and gaskets weren't listed on the general pages of the sites I was looking to buy from, the only way to find them was with an exact part #.

If you are talking about where the camshaft tower assembly meets rhe cylinder head there is none.. all we do is use SUBAGOO sealant and that's it.. :) p/n is 004403007 silicone gasket you have to order is via subaru dealership or other.

That's exactly what I was referring to...I'm trying to collect all the necessary engine re-seal gaskets, oil seals, o-rings, etc. for when the time comes.  I know these are leaking currently.

Good info on Subagoo, that stuff is expensive though!

Yes sir... amazing stuff and ye fire sure expensive!

Fel Pro head set and conversion kit. The from dealer, only the intake manifold gaskets and the 2 reinforced o rings for the oil passages to rhe cams.

thepartsbin.com used to carry them but i haven't ordered from there in 10+ years if they even exist still...

there's also the clip-on orings for the oil supply ports to the cams (1 per side on EA82's and 3 on XT6's)
