Best exhaust set up for EA81 1986 Brumby/Brat

Hi Folks,

Looking at putting a weber carb (32/36) on my Brumby but prior to that I am looking at upgrading the exhaust to see if I can release any more power.  I don't hat a catalytic converter, so any ideas on what set up I should run after the "Y" connection?  I was thinking 2 inches, resonator and free-flow muffler?

Cheers,

Barra

I kindly suggest you to use a two inches Diameter piping, and a free flow muffler, only.

I've been runnin' my "BumbleBeast" since 1993 with that setup, with great results.

Hi Barra,

Did you get any noticeable power increase from the 2" system?

Where in the system did the muffle get fitted? And do you get any droning sound from it?

I'm running a bog stock ea81 with the original carb.

Cheers,

Wobs.
