The front speakers are ok, but you should run new wires to the rear. Its a common ground thing from Subaru.

No, but it probably wont sound right. Always read the instructions supplied with your unit before installing (CYA).

audio wiring isnt too hard, lots easier than, lets say, rewiring the whole fron end. i would change out the wiring for the rears at least. for the fronts, it depends on the head unit that you are ususing and the speaker you go with.

You can rewire the front and not the rear, or rewire the rear and not the front, or rewire both.

i hooked everything but no lights, so i put the old am-fm radio back in and no sound at all all lights work ??? any help ? very odd

start from the bottom and work your way up. check all the connections, and check all the wires.
